Bei Zhan Restaurant is not a cosy small place for a private 'dinner for two'. The two huge ballroom-type rooms can cope with 200+ people each. The tables for 8-10 persons come with a large 'Lazy Susan' spinning platter and the noise level in the large room reminds one on the students days in the canteen. The kitchen must be... More

the location is a little way out of the main belt where the happenning places are - it is at Taman Kota Laksamana- however the food is really excellent - the lamb dish was outstanding but the rest - the veggies / pork was also just as good No wonder they have such a great following and a queue of... Went over for a quick dinner recently and found the best dish was the black fungus and fried chicken dishes. The lotus soup was simply unappealing as it was just too bland. Other dishes shown on my photos tasted slightly above average and the bill comes up to RM179 which is ok for me

Restaurant wasn't bad but not great either. When we were there a lot of the menu was not available anymore. What we got was an average meal and not really worth the trip. And it was a bit pricey too.

Their Hor Fun, Fried Oyster Mushrooms with Macademia nuts and Marmite Pork are a great treat for three. (probably a bit too much) There are other great dishes too but did not have time to check it out. You are assured of quality.

great food! even the toilet wash basin design is unique and cleanliness excellent. Available wifi was also great, even outside the door of the restaurant. service was also prompt although the restaurant was full during our lunch. When we asked to pack some of our dessert for the driver who did not join us, they willingly obliged, and changed the... More

We went to Bei Zhan for dinner on a Sunday after reading the reviews for TA! The restaurant is spacious and clean. The dishes came in generous portion and all were very tasty. The best dish was the roasted suckling pig. The size of the suckling pick is not too huge and we really enjoyed it. The disappointment was....when we... More

My family and I had a great lunch in this restaurant. I mentioned reasonable given the environment, the service and the price to pay.. I personally felt is okay. We ordered fish, pork, vege, roast duck, soup for 6 people and bill comes up to MYR120. Not too expensive but won't say it is cheap either.. I will definitely come... More

This Chinese restaurant is in a 2 storey shophouse building. It shifted to this current location a few years back. The decor is new and more modern and has very high ceiling which gives it a grander feel. Food is the best around that area. Though not very cheap, or slightly more expensive than the normal Melaka food, the food... More
