The food is good and the service fast and polite. I think this restaurant is quite popular. The fried char kway teow was delicious!

Food is pretty good but nothing out of the extraordinary and reasonable price. Nice big place which is prominent if you were to drive along laksamana area. Bright and comfortable setting. service is good.

A relatively upscale family restaurant that never fails to satisfy me! The soya milk is a must-have!

We had roast duck porridge, fried egg with fungus, emperor vegetables and steamed fish. All are well cooked and the outstanding dish is the fried egg with fungus. Tasted like a local fried rice dish but fragrant. The porridge is tasty and the roast duck meat is just right for the porridge. Will be back when we go Malacca again.

Had an enjoyable dinner here with my mom and a friend during my visit. Some hits and misses but generally, it's a good dining option outside the tourist belt. Prompt and attentive wait staff was refreshing :)

The food at Bei Zhan was excellent, service was fast too (well they have a lot of staff). The fried spinach with pumpkin is a must try and a must eat!

This restaurant is our go to place for good food. More spacious than before and still serving good food. Must tries: river prawns in noodles, 3 layer belly pork with yam, fried kangkong tofu claypot.

Went early for dinner at about 6pm - the place was empty. But don't be wrong, the crowd comes in from 7pm onwards for the good food! One of the dishes that caught my eye was spinch with pumpkin sauce. A very good choice I would say -something you will hardly find in Singapore restaurant - just that tid bit... More

When in Malacca, I like to bring my overseas guests to Bei Zhan for Chinese food. The food's good and it doesn't burn a hole in my pocket! Last night, the four of us had Braised Pork Belly with steamed buns, Crispy Spinach with Pumpkin (highly recommended), Steamed Grouper in Soy Sauce (this cost half the total bill at RM124... More

We ordered the chef recommended set meal for 10 pax which cost rm$499++. We had suckling pig, grilled lamb, steam patin fish, roasted duck, tofu, scrambled egg with minced chicken, prawns, vegetables. The food were fresh and deliciously prepared. We highly recommend the suckling pig and the lamb. The lamb was moist and tender whereas the pig is lean and... More
