Pretty view isnt going to make the food better.

Let's face it. Malaysian are trying to get good food by making the atmosphere better. This is what i had in mind whenever i get myself into a fancy western restaurant. Dont get me wrong, there are some western themed restaurants which served great food in a lovely environment. But the fact is... read more

We stopped at this restaurant cause we wanted to have a break from the Malaysian food, attired by the western menu option and the location on the river. When I asked for a carbonara pasta with some adjustments (I'm Italian so a bit fussy on our dishes) the owner came to me, asking better about it. Ten minutes after I've... More

Tucked away in a corner out of the way, a bit quirky. It has a BRILLIANT view of the canal where you can sit and eat(like Venice!)The management are very nice and welcoming, food was great and if you can manage it there's a 'eat our massive burger' type challenge. All in all an enjoyable visit.

Yes, the view is good - and you're gonna pay for that. I get it. But for what we ordered, it was way too expensive! Stay away from the lamb!!! (Lamb Kuzi for 13RM) Why? Because there was not meat. It was rice, sauce and bones. Horrible. I ordered the Sate (which was pricey but good) but I got my... More

Watch the boat go by while enjoying your dinner with romatic french music playing in the background. The steak I had was so tender and value for money. They even gave us 2 types of sauces. My partner had gourmet burger thick chucky 200gms nicely presented on a nice burger bun. The meat patti was so meaty and juicy....no complains.... More

When we got there all the tables were full. Seeing that people just paid and were leaving we waited for the table, which by the time we walked over to was given away to locals. so they set us up a new one at the far end. From here we could not hear the music and were kind of forgotten.... More

They have good choice of Malay and Western Food. Didn't try anything from the western menu, but the Beef Dendeng and Chicken Kapitan (from Malay menu) were both excellent choices. The restaurant is right along the river which was very nice. I had an interesting conversation with my Malay waiter and the staff was very friendly. The candles added a... More
