As what we learn from the hotel staff who introduce us to go there instead of Capitol satay celup due to long queue, there are 2 shop with same name next to each other due to the 2 brothers had dispute that why they are separated. We tried the one with red coloured gate. The taste is good but due... More

This place served good pork satay with peanut sauce mixed with pineapple paste. Not only pork, they also serve pork intestine and liver satay, all nicely skewered to perfection. Nicely tucked in a quiet corner near the touristy zone. Can get a lil crowded though. My 2-year-old daughter had her very first stick of satay here and immediately fell in... More

I had been there on Sunday, arrived on 5pm, no need queue at all ! good for tat. didn't choose to go for Capitol bcoz of the long queue... The sauce was ok, looks hygience enough for me. They open from 3.30pm on weekends, so go early if u 1 to avoid queue, was crowded after 6pm.

Well firstly when you arrive here, there are 2 shops with the same name. BAN LEE SIANG. Both are apparently the same brothers that had a fall out. How ever the food looks the same. Tried the one that is on 45E. The run down looking place. The food selection here is not much. The price is about Rm0.80 per... More

Been more than a decade I've been to this shop. Mind u. Still the same good old taste of spicy... More

We went here for dinner after walking around Jonker Walk with my husband. Place is recommended to me by a Malaccan acquaintance. It is located in the outskirts of Jonker Walk and takes about 10minutes to reach the place by foot. However, when we went there, we were directed to the longer route and took us about 15-20minutes to reach... More

It was recommended by a friend to me. I really like their satay celup as you can't find it everywhere. In general it was a good experience and worth eating there. We had 24 pieces and 2 drinks for 22 RM.

This is the second time I tried satay celup.. and I was reminded why I didn't like it the first time 10 years ago (at Capitol then).. The ingredients are mainly processed meat/fish pieces skewered.. the taste of blended peanuts and pineapple is overpowering, the place is hot and sticky.. Just not to my taste..

When it comes to satay celup everyone says head to Capitol but I can't bear waiting in line for hours. No food is that great. So usually I find alternatives. This is one of them. Decent sauce and choices. Price is generally the same all around. There are 2 shops with the same name side by side. Not sure what... More
