Well firstly when you arrive here, there are 2 shops with the same name. BAN LEE SIANG. Both are apparently the same brothers that had a fall out. How ever the food looks the same. Tried the one that is on 45E. The run down looking place. The food selection here is not much. The price is about Rm0.80 per... More

Been more than a decade I've been to this shop. Mind u. It started with one shop, later expanded to two shop side by side and later unfortunately some internal family dispute ( I heard) separated the two side by side shop selling the same thing with a grill in between ha... Still the same good old taste of spicy... More

We went here for dinner after walking around Jonker Walk with my husband. Place is recommended to me by a Malaccan acquaintance. It is located in the outskirts of Jonker Walk and takes about 10minutes to reach the place by foot. However, when we went there, we were directed to the longer route and took us about 15-20minutes to reach... More

It was recommended by a friend to me. I really like their satay celup as you can't find it everywhere. In general it was a good experience and worth eating there. We had 24 pieces and 2 drinks for 22 RM.

This is the second time I tried satay celup.. and I was reminded why I didn't like it the first time 10 years ago (at Capitol then).. The ingredients are mainly processed meat/fish pieces skewered.. the taste of blended peanuts and pineapple is overpowering, the place is hot and sticky.. Just not to my taste..

When it comes to satay celup everyone says head to Capitol but I can't bear waiting in line for hours. No food is that great. So usually I find alternatives. This is one of them. Decent sauce and choices. Price is generally the same all around. There are 2 shops with the same name side by side. Not sure what... More

It's not bad but it's not super good either. The boiling sauce was alright, but the seafood was not all fresh. The processed meats like fishballs and all are ok but fresh seafood could be better. At least we didn't have to queue miles long like at Capitol.

Recommended by Hotel Hong. Put away your inhibitions and try something different. Satay fondue without really knowing what you are cooking. Staff had limited English and tried to help with what was in the fridge, but after a few sticks you don't really care as long as it tastes good. Worth the experience.

A local friend brought me here as recommended better than the Capital satay celup near the tourist area. We arrived at around 7pm on Monday evening, even though there is no queue but the restaurant is still fully occupied. Easy rule to follow, every stick count at 80 cents and there are quite a big variety of choices. The satay... More

The best satay celup in town. My piece of advice, should celup with their "yao tiao" which goes best with their gravy. Best combination ever.
