Lovely eclectic cafe

We started our culinary adventures here. I had a Nasi Lemak which was good but needed more anchovies. Coffee was tasty and the service was excellent. I also loved the decor with old coffee making equipment. Our total cost was 32 Ringget and my wife had a tea and fruit muesli. Well worth a visit and... read more

We happened upon this cafe around morning tea time and the place was pretty much empty. We wandered through the different rooms and patios before settling into a comfy lounge setting right at the back. The wait staff were all very nice and friendly and helpful, particularly with the kids. We only had coffee and cakes, but these were all... More

If you want a real café experience, offering the best of Malay local cuisine and excellent drinks and desserts you'll find it here! And while you're enjoying the food and refreshments, take some time to have a look around at all the interesting seating and patio areas, and all the recycled and retro furniture and fittings. Of course you can... More

I love their dishes Nasi Lemak and Golden rice. We went there twice during three days! We enjoyed a lot sitting the table outside and having our food and drink. The street where the cafe located is right next to busy Jonker Street yet the environmen in the cafe is much relax. It's very nice also only to have a... More

I went to this Restaurant twice and had the Laksa both times. I still remember it even if it's been 1 year since. The place is very nice and the soup is amazing. Whenever some of my friends is going to Melacca I recommend this restaurant and they all were amazed by the great Laksa.

You gotta learn how to make a latte guys. There's tons of YouTube videos on it. The milk tasted like cheese from boiling it with the steam wand. Use less milk. Expensive and poorly done.

I'm not sure why this place is so highly rated. The satay sauce was very disappointing, food is not better than the average. The decoration is not anything special and not a place to come back for a second time. All said, I haven't tried the coffee which seems like the specialty of this place, so take my review with... It's a nicely decorated, relaxed café, a fun place to drop by. And as our Singaporese neighbours were raving about the laksa, we surely don't want to advise against eating here either. We probably just had bad luck with the Indian inspired mutton dish, which we didn't find very tasty but was also still cold in the middle, so not... More
