Love the chicken, rice ball and chilli. Chicken is very tender. Queue for nearly an hour. Wouldn't advice family with young kids as you have to queue under the sun for quite awhile. Definitely no space in the shop for your stroller.

I had my first chicken rice balls at this shop and for the other times I was trying other restaurants around jonker walk. Finally decided to go back to this shop for second time and it was kinda disappointing. We queued from 12 noon and managed to get a table after half and hour. We were prepared to queue for... More

I like The rice ball taste very nice, and the chicken is very juicy. And the price is very affordable. Don't come too late since there will be longline of people wants to eat in there.

Went to the Chicken rice stall today 26/7/2014. Oh come on. Waiting in the hot sun just to eat chicken rice balls and chicken. Please think before you queue. Ordered 2 person servings. 1 plate chicken rice and 10 rice balls (standard order). Price $22.00. Guess what the table beside paid for the same order $16.00. Left the place irritated... More

Be prepare to queue or otherwise be as early as 11am for early lunch. The rice ball is good and the chicken is tender. The restaurant itself is old and dated which give you the original old days charm. You might need to share a table with stranger if you are alone or with less then 4 person.

This place is a must visit when you come to Malacca. The chicken, although pricey, was really tender and delicious. I didn't think that the rice balls were anything special. Be prepared to queue up absolutely ages when you come here. We went at about 11am, before the lunchtime crowd and were lucky we did not have to wait that... More

At my recent visit to Melaka, we were very disappointed with the service and choice of selection. We are a group of 5 people (only needed to wait for 10 mins) ... once we are seated, they just enforced we need to eat 1 plate of chicken (probably just 1/2 chicken) and have 5 rice balls - compulsory! no negotiation!... OMG perfect combination of flavour and balance between the rice balls, chicken and homemade chilli sauce. Didn't have to queue but it would be worth the wait especially if you are a 'Chicken Rice' connoisseur. Get local knowledge, if you are able, to avoid the queues.

I guess if chicken rice balls is your thing, go queue for it. I went when there wasn't a queue, so I got served pretty fast. We felt it was pretty expensive. RM31 for 2 persons (chicken, gizzards, 10 rice balls, 2 soft drinks) but it was ok for one experience. Not good enough to go back again.
