Not a big deal

This is my 2nd visit to Malacaa after a very very long time and heard about the famous chicken rice balls so decided to see what was so great. It's basically chicken rice, balled up and everyone gets 5 balls each. Chicken was not fantastic and personally I feel that if the owners of the shop had... read more

Skip the rest. If you don't like to queue, avoid peak hours or weekends. Not suitable for single diners, as the smallest portion is 1/2 chicken. If non-halal is not an issue, just queue & enjoy the best chicken rice in town.

I arrived before 9am but already queue and had to wait. When my turn coming, staff told me they don't serve food for 1person. Because they serve only half or full size of chicken. I told old male staff that I could eat as small portion last time but he said change style to new way because good for business.... More

They sell standard food, every one go there will get 5 pieces of chicken rice ball and chicken. Only one type of chicken which is white steamed chicken. But it is so YUMMY! Worth for the queue under hot sun.

When in Rome, do as the Romans. When in Melaka, queue up for an hour to get a seat. Order your meal. Enjoy it. And be proud of this accomplishment. Instagram it, post it on twitter, facebook. Let the world know you're finally a chicken rice baller.

Queue - Long. Took an hour when we started queueing in front of Hard Rock Cafe. Chicken - Very smooth and tasty. Though the way they cut the chicken creates many sharp tiny bone fragments. If you go alone, be prepared to order of half a chicken to get a seat. Rice - Below average taste. Chilli - Hot and... More

The food is very tasty, but i think it is overrated. The service is not very good and the price for four people is 52.60, it is quite expensive for me. But the food is very good.

Been wanted to try the chicken rice ball in this particular shop for sometime but it's always a no go due to the regular long queue! I'm glad that I finally managed to taste it during my last visit to Malacca. I have to say that this is the best chicken rice ball that i ever tasted so far. The... More

It's a popular hainanese chicken restaurant. It's one of the best in melaka town although its not the best in malaysia. But the standatd drop as the chicken meat is not as smooth as previous. Its still worth a try for first timer or when u visit melaka. There will be a long queue during lunch time, weekends or public holidays
