Luckily I did not have to wait to get a table. I initially ordered chicken and rice balls, but they ended up giving me just chicken and rice. Once the owner figured out the mistake, she immediately went and brought me two rice balls without any extra cost. I thought that was quite kind and generous of her. The food... More

I had to wait for 20 mins before i could have a table but it is worthy for waiting. I ordered chicken and fish, both is delicious. the price is quite reasonable and it is a added point for this restaurant.

This restaurant has a nice ambience, u are like eating in the traditional old house with the big hall in the middle. The food is consider worth a visit with tender chicken and the rice ball is indeed better than the other popular shop. Remember to go early as they close quite...

We were led to this restaurant by our rental driver. At first we wanted to try peranakan food, but we thought the driver must know better although he must get incentive by taking guests there. No soup on that day, as stated in the main door. The rice was given on big plate, not personal portion. It did not taste... More

For chicken rice lovers like us who even cook our own chicken rice at home, this is nothing to shout about... Rice is not tasty enough, chicken is not tender enough even though it's alright. The rice balls r not as tasty as the loose rice. Will be a good place to eat if it's your first few experience with... More

Chicken was not so tender . Rice balls were cold. There were no soups on sunday and public holiday. Other then that, they can just hang a sign said no soup for today on any weekdays . We end up with not much choice after a long queue. They only sell white chicken, which not so fantastic, cabbage and Assam... More

I have to say that eventually found the place after trying different ones. The best of of the different ones that I tried there. It was ok. The chicken tasted better then the rice balls but overall eating chicken rice in Singapore taste much better. This coming from one of the biggest chicken rice eaters in the world...lol.

This is suppose to be one of the original chicken rice ball started many many years ago. The other one is "Zhong hua". But I do think this stall is too commercialise and over rated though. Chicken is OK and rice not very good. Be prepare to QUEUE if you go during weekends or holiday. I personally prefer the other... More
