The standard of rice balls and chicken was pretty average but it was cheap. The portion of the meal was pretty large for its price. Good for those who just want to fill their belly.
We had chicken and rice ball. The chicken comes with the liver tasted good, juicy & tender. Rice ball is too much for the 2 of us, but taste delicious. The chili sauce is great too. We paid less than RM20 for both of us - chicken, rice balls & drinks. Not expensive and reasonable price to us. We like... More
The restaurant occupies a lovely old 2-storey house that has been restored and refurbished. It's located next to the red building occupied by "San Shu Gong" at one end of Jonker Street, but the signboard is not very prominent. We ordered 1/4 chicken, some vegetables, chicken rice and a coconut for brunch. (The chicken rice balls are only available after... More
Personally think it's overrated. The rice taste not bad but the chicken served is disappointing . Almost half of the chicken served appear to to reddish, which is quite spoiling our appetite.. Feeling slightly disappointed since we set quite a high expectation upon seeing good reviews from others..

We like this restaurant because besides chicken rice, they also offer assam fish, black bean soup and vegetables. This suits us very well. It is not true that they no longer serve chicken rice balls. Due to short-handedness (lack of staff) they... More
Don't get me wrong, the reason why I am disappointed is not due to horrible tasting food. In fact, the steam chicken tasted good, juicy & tender. The disappointed comes from the fact that they seems to no longer serve "rice ball". If they aren't serving rice ball, they should remove it from their name. The chicken gizzard is out... More
This is the first time I try, friend suggest this would be the best among all. Have some queue, service overall are ok. But the chicken taste is really normal, not that delicious for you to queue up. At least in my mind there are few stores that's better than this(not in Melaka). And I can't imagine other store if... More
They do not serve rice ball temporary due to labour shortage, nothing to shout about for the loose rice, the chicken taste so-so, the asam fish which strongly recommended by the waitress taste awful. Overall the food is overrated!
