NIce rice balls!

Have eaten in this shop a couple of times. The most recent being over the weekend as Chung Wah already had a long line forming up even before 10.30am. Was disappointed that they limit each customer to only 5 chicken rice balls (roughly sized of a ping pong ball) Wanted to add more rice balls but... read more

You have to try chicken rice ball if you come here and this is as good a place as any to come and do it, less of a queue than Chung way and I thought more delicate rice balls. Did it, enjoyed it, ticked that box.

The restaurant is dressed up in a lovely authentic traditional facade & it follows through into the interior. It is spacious and hides plenty of nooks and corners. Despite having a long queue of diners waiting to get in, the restaurant staff was very efficient in getting you a table as quickly as possible. Sometimes during peak lunch hours, the... More

We queued here for 20 minutes. Ordered a whole chicken, 10 rice balls and cabbage for the 2 of us. Chicken is Abit hard not as tender as Tian Tian chicken in Singapore. Chilli dip is Abit too watery. Rice ball is nice. Overall paid rm47 including 2 can drinks. Not bad but overhype.

We came there before lunch time, it will have long queue if you come around 12. The waitress were super friendly, she gave us good offer for 4 persons. We can try their 2 best menus plus rice ball and additional rice. You must come here when you visit Melaka!

Never fail to have a satisfying lunch at hoe kee chicken rice ball. Cheap and reasonably good portion. We had their signature chicken rice ball, assam fish, and cabbage. Cooling ambience with natural ventilation. shorter queue than the adjacent chicken rice ball shop.

There was short queue of less than 10 people on a sunny Saturday lunch time. The order had to be taken whilst in the queue before being seated in the renovated restaurant, which is not air-conditioned. Each serving of five chicken rice balls came on a plate. The balls were roughly the size of a ping pong ball, and each... More

My husband and I always made sure that we visit this restaurant whenever we visit Malacca. We love it so much! The restaurant has a charming interior and it always felt nice to be eating there. The food was always our favourite! Many would say how great can chicken rice be? After all, it's just chicken rice. But trust me,... More

Chicken rice with the rice served in the form of rolled balls; tasty with authentic chicken flavour and spicy chilli sauce; price is reasonable and service quite prompt without having to wait too long
