Must eat in Melaka

I always come to this shop for chicken rice ball in Melaka, at least I don't have to line up under the sun for a long time. Love their fast and good service, and most important tasty steam chicken.

Wait to be seated during lunch, weekend or high season. Once you have seated, they will ask your order. So simple, but make sure you enjoy the drink first because if it's crowded then you must be really patient to have your meals come. But it's worth. The chicken rice ball and the fish asam pedas is really yummy.

My parents and I for as long as I can remember have been patronizing this for many years.. Although the price has increased now, food is still quite good and Im still not sick of eating it. The chicken rice balls are awesome especially with the chilli. I also love their herbal tea. The chicken however sometimes is nice sometimes... More

It is just better chicken rice ball than other stores. The foods serve by number of person. It come with standard sets - chicken, vege and Asam fish. Long queue during weekend and public holiday.

We went there around 11am and there was no long queue. We waited for about 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered rice balls, steamed chicken, stir-fried kailan, grilled pork and cendol. I personally thought the rice ball and steamed chicken was slightly salty. It tasted like normal chicken rice dish, really.

So apparently the very famous chicken rice ball shop has already got long queue, so I came to this with obviously lesser queue, ought to have little disappointment but turns out to be surprising, it was great with affordable prices. Highly recommend this.

Definitely overrated for the quality of the chicken rice. I think the chicken rice ball in Melaka has dropped over the years due to all these hype & the superfluous demand. The folks had to cope with the high demand especially during the peak season, which is a known fact, coz you can't possibly measure up whilst maintaining a high... More

Went to took dinner at the restaurant to try the chicken rice ball but the rice ball is a bit too small and pricing wise is acceptable. Best to try is the chicken legs dish too.
