The restaurant has seen a change in management and unfortunately, a change in quality of food for the worse. While some dishes such as the itik tim soup still retains its signature sourness, others which can be considered basic and essential dishes to get right (ie sambal, fried fish) has declined in quality. This restaurant serves the worst nyonya food in Melaka. The worst of the worst. I rather endure physical pain than come here again. The sambal prawns and chicken rendang were disappointing. We came here for lunch as Ole Sayang was highly rated. But we found the food was rather average. It wasn't bad, it was just ordinary.

The place was pack on the 5th day of CNY and we have 19 of us. The owner was sharp enough to spot me and reserve 2 side by side and about to finish table for me. I would say the food was nice - But try all their spicy food, the non spicy food was just average. And the Cendol is must try! The price is cheap if your didn't order Fish but you should try the fish so the total bill might surprise you.

We had an excellent intro to perankan food here and later found out that locals regard it as one of the best restaurants in town!

This is indeed one of the best peranakan restaurant ever! They serve a couple of authentic dishes, made so well that I'll do whatever I need for the recipe! We went for dinner on a Friday and the place was crowded. But there were enough tables because there was another unit space next to it available for dinning. I loved the Assam Fish!! Comparable to the popular Makko restaurant in terms of price and service. Cheap and Good food.
