I really loved the geographer cafe, my family and I ended up dining a number of times! It has a great location in the middle of lively Jonker Street, a good atmosphere with fantastic food and drinks. I would particularly recommend the chicken satay and tom yam soup, which is delightfully served in a coconut!

Good design and good view if you sit at balcony or first floor. Be careful that I was attacked by mosquitoes while i sat on 2nd floor.

We were in a group of 10. Everybody ordered something different from the local noodle dish to fish and chips and all the dishes were excellent. Compliments to the chef for preparing such a varied menu and doing them all well.

We sat here after we'd run around the night market. It was quite busy but the service was slow and you had to hunt for a waiter to order. Also tracking someone down for the bill was a mission. Cocktails were really good and very pretty too. Satay was some of the best.

We stopped here for a drink and to listen to some music. The staff were very good music not as good as the previous two nights which sounded better from where were sitting just across in another bar which also has live music. This is a popular place in Melaka and very busy Friday and Saturday quieter on Sunday evening. It... More

No one to seat us, staff were indifferent at best. One person in our party of 3 got her order only after 45 minutes, after the rest of us had finished eating. We tried asking for an ETA on her order a few times (it's a lot easier to deal with a delay or make alternate plans if you know... More

Stopped here for a coffee and a cake... And the chocolate banana cake is an absolute winner! Very nice the menu looked interesting and reasonably priced and the inside air conditioning was a a welcome reprieve from the heat outside.

An excellent location in the old area of Melaka. You can enjoy street dining/indoor/air con/upstairs (observation deck)/ live music in the evening/eclectic music otherwise....good food options were the vege rolls and the spring rolls - and the Geographer Special (lunch), drinks were well priced...but do check your expectations with the 'cheaply priced' cocktails. With our group, all were delicious, but... More

Nice music, cool environment, away from the scorching heat and crowd outside. Many choices of food, good customer service. Minus: washroom was not so clean
