We had a great afternoon sesh that went on to become a night sesh :) great food. Food and drinks were not cheap by Malaysian standards, but we still had a great time.

Food here is prepared to a high standard and caters for all nationalities. Has something for everyone. The atmosphere and decor are very appealing. A variety of seating eg stools, casual tables, more formal tables. Continuous TV screen showing a variety of clips. I enjoyed the one depicting the birth and refurbishment of the cafe.

We ate here on Monday evening where there is live jazz from Nadia and Beloved Father. This was lovely mix of western jazz and Malaysian jazz songs and kept us there for longer than we had planned. The cafe is very atmospheric with a lot of foliage outside. Food was great, we had vegetable curry to share to start with... More

When the sun has set and the market is on at weekends this place is perfect to chill out with a glass of wine and a few beers. Good music and a great atmosphere makes for an enjoyable evening.

A landmark in Melaka, this cafe is a meeting point for visitors and in a great location on Jonkers. Great coffee and wine by the glass (not usually available). Staff were very friendly but service a little haphazard. We used it for a break during sightseeing but did not eat there. It is not really known as a restaurant and... More

Stepped in attracted by the live music. Lively belted out. Very pleasant greeting from the waiter and my coffee appeared very quickly. Delicious coffee. I actually wanted a fresh coconut but it was off the menu. They seem to have a good selection of drinks. Don't expect too much. It's a down home sort of place but they also do... More

We went there Friday night so the place was a bit packed. Nice place to hang out and chill, they have a wide selection of drinks plus there's a duo playing showband music until 12. Good thing is you can also enjoy the music played by the resident singer on the bar across, Ringo's Antique Shop.

Nasi lemak is horrible. Serve with veg without chicken wings is really bad. The rice and sambal is not nice at all. Coconut drink is tasteless. I suspect they reuse the coconut shell. The shell is empty for the 4 of us.

Hi, Thank you for your time at our cafe and for taking the time to write this review. Our vege nasi lemak is one of our vegetarian menu, cooked using brown rice with coconut milk to go with vegetarian sambal. It is not served with chicken as it is one of our dishes from the vegetarian section, however guests may... More

Food was not bad but the service was very poor. Clearly the restaurant is understaffed on a weekend afternoon. We had to self-help with the menu. Portion of the food was rather small. We ordered desserts but order was not keyed in. Music was way too loud with mediocre sound quality blasting in the cafe. Bar counter was filled with... More

The Geographer is a great place to stop and visit on a warm day (well they're all warm) and get out of the sun and under a fan. The food and the service are quite good and the view along Jonker street makes for some great visuals as all the people come by. Get a bucket of beer and some... More
