But the food was good. I only had the laksa, tried some ngoh hiang and otak otak. Surprisingly there was no queue when we got there just after noon. Must come back on the first day of visit and try other dishes esp the much raved popiah.

We visited the restaurant for dinner. It was crowded, but we managed to get a table on second floor. We ordered fried rice, fried noodle, kangkong belachan, ngoh hiang (meat rolls), ayam buah keras (candlenut chicken), sayur nangka and popiah (fresh spring roll). All dishes were tasty. Ayam buah keras and sayur nangka were especially lip-smacking good. Perfect to be... More

I live in Singapore and have been to several Peranakan restaurants with real Peranakan friends. I, therefore, was able to compare the food we ate at Nancy's with that in Joo Chiat, Singapore. Ayam buah keluak at Nancy's is delicious. You pay for each nut, but, knowing the laborious preparation process, it is appropriate. We shared several local dishes, all... More

The things worth trying: - Chicken with Indonesian Black Nut (google this - scary but very tasty! ;) - Duck (the sauce is delicious and a must-do is to get a bottle of their self-made chili sauce! It is very lemony and delicious. Be aware that there are long queues at meal time, so you might have to wait. They... More

Visited on a Friday evening. Lucky for us the crowd was less. Please come early to avoid the queue as there are only around 7 tables available. But I still think it is not worth the queue though. There are better nyonya restaurants available in town.

Go to Nancy's just for the experience. There's usually a line waiting for table any time around 12h00 or after 18h00 in the evenings. The place looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but when we asked a local where he would go for the best Nyonya food in Melaka, he immediately pointed us to Nancy's and he was right. They make popia... A very good restaurant to taste Nyonya dishes. We did a cooking course here. Very special to learn the dishes from a cooking perspective

we've been there for our last dinner in town with the familly. The food was yummi, we taste new dishes, the quantity and the quality were perfect. Highly recommended. Very affordable prices. We oly have been "disturb" by the too cold aircon.

We had dinner at Nancy's on our first evening in Melaka, encouraged by TA reviews praising the good local fare and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, we can not give a great review. On a positive note, the popiah that we started off with was delicious! However, we were somewhat disappointed by the main courses: we had a fish dish (garlic and... More
