real indian food not to be missed.

Recommended and could not fault there quality of food and service.If. you are an indian food lover then do try it at least once. The food is authentic unlike the food served in the restaurants in the uk. it was well worth the short trip from patnem beach to this eatery in Palolem.

Almost the first restaurant on the left when you step down to teh beach from Alba rooms, Dropadi is nice and airy, a pleasant place for a lazy lunch. The food, however, is not spectacular and the blame for that probably lies with the tourists. The typical tourist craves the exoticism of travel but wants it cushioned in the familiar.... More

Being lucky enough to spend 10 nights in Palolem,Dropadi was where we ate most evenings. The menu is very wide ranging and they have a specials board with some wonderful choices on it,my favourite was the crab and prawn mahkni which was outstanding. Their fresh strawberry diaquiries were rather special too. The food at Dropadi is consistently of a very... More

Visited in the evening with a party of three, say on a table on the elevated verandah facing the sea. Nice and modern looking restaurant compared with most of the beachfront ones nearby. Comfy seats and sand on the floor ( probably not good for heels ladies ! ) I ordered a Crab which I picked myself which came with... More

We had dinner there once. Service was not as friendly as it is in Goa. More importantly the food was not what I have heard and recommended. The seafood sizzler has cabbage leaves beneath the dish so they were burned on the sizzler pan and gave burnt taste to the whole dish. The Malasian prawn dish had french fries in... More

Bang on Palolem Beach this is good dining experience. Service is supersonic, Food brilliant, price mid range. Surprised to find "Dal-palak" viz "lentils cooked with green leafy vegetable" on the menu, it tuned out to be very homely and tasty, We had Veg Biryani, Fruit Salad with ice cream, Butter Paneer etc, all of them were sumptuous

Tried the Prawns xacuti here, very light and tasty. The restaurant may feel a little crowded (its right next to the main entry to the Palolem beach) but service is fast and setting is good!

The restaurant has undergone a tasteful makeover for the 2015 tourist season. The food has remained the same however, which is a good thing as it is awesome. Must try dished include the crab curry and the ever popular balti dall. Slick service and value for money prices keep me coming back time after time.

Nice setting ,and very efficient service are the two main virtues of this restaurant . Food still is very pleasant but the compromises with western food is a bit deceiving for Indian food lovers as myself .Tikka and tandooris with chips is for my standards unnaceptable ,but prawn and crab saags are still a pleasure to have ,same for lassis...
