September 1, 2014 We were hesitant to try Wildflower Cafe because of several negative reviews, but decided to give it a shot and glad we did! It was Labor Day, we got in right ahead of the lunch crowd and were seated quickly, our order placed and served in a reasonable time length. The music was great (our era of... More

I loved this place. It was right up my alley. My daughter who is 11, my husband, and I had no idea what to expect. We were greeted with a song. I say country mountain hippie...lol Local art on the walls...country feel...and great food. There are many choices as far as healthy or not healthy. Whichever you want... The musician... More

Quaint, folksy and fun. Owner is very involved in her business. Food is awesome. Musician walks around and plays on Sunday. Brunch is very good, pizza is good as well. Fun place to dine in Mentone.

We ate dinner there August 2014. We made reservations for 5:30 as advised (b/c it was Saturday) but it wasn't necessary. They couldn't "find" our reservation, but the restaurant was not even 25%full at that time. (But it filled up pretty quickly). We asked for a seat by a window, but the young person led us to a completely empty... More

Before vacationing to small towns, my husband and I do a lot of research on the restaurants because I am vegan. Many small towns don't have vegan specific food, but I can usually make do. I was delighted to see that Wildflower Cafe expressed on their website that they had vegan options. This was our first stop as soon as... More

We stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon as we passed through North Alabama. We were drawn here by the restaurant's listing in the "100 Alabama Foods to Try" (I think it's called) brochure we picked up at an Alabama rest stop. When we walked in, we were seated fairly promptly even though they were busy, and I loved both... More

Delicious food and a friendly & accommodating staff, even at the end of a very busy weekend for them (127 yardsale). They have a very "can-do" attitude when it comes to needing to substitute various things. Our orders were all correct and delicious. There was live music, which we enjoyed, but if you want to be able to have extensive... More

Wildflower Cafe is an a comfortable easy going place to eat, don't be in a hurry, enjoy the atmosphere. Good food, with a guitarist helping you to be a part of the atmosphere but not embarassed. The owner loves food, music, people and helping you enjoy your visit. She is even not afraid to clear tables and help out the... More
