During crawfish season, this is THE place to be on the weekends. Being as far north from the Gulf, crawfish are a rare treat for the area. Year round this place serves up delicious royal red shrimp, oysters, and several specialties you won't find out about unless go there and ask your server. Cheap beer with several taps and then... I went to Tims Cajun kitchen because I am from Louisiana and I have been disappointed with most cajun establishments in this area. I got take out, some gumbo and a crawfish poboy the waitress was very nice and the food was authentic. The crawfish poboy was loaded with crawfish. I will be going back again soon.

The servers were nice and attentive. The establishment is clean. The gator meat was small bites and small portions. The blackened chicken was over cooked and dry, the noodle sauce strangely sweet. Plenty of seating for a reason.

I went for lunch. It took over 15 minutes to take my order then another 30 to get my food. I ordered a cup of etouffee, a cup of red beans and rice, and a cup of gumbo. The etouffee and red beans were just OK. The gumbo was good.

Tim's is a very loud place but the food is very good and the prices are right. They have the usual Cajun food like Po Boy's, Jambalaya and Gumbo. My husband always gets the Jambalaya when we go to Tim's. I've tried the Gumbo and I've also had the fried shrimp and enjoyed them both. They have a good selection of... More

This is my second visit to Tim's in several years. Unfortunately, we don't get to Huntsville very often but when we do, we will always go to Tim's. We love it. It's absolutely the BEST Cajun food anywhere north of Louisiana. It's not the most attractive restaurant in town, but it doesn't matter when the food is so great. We... More

Tim's Cajun Kitchen is my favorite restaurant in Huntsville and probably a top 5 out of all the places I travel. The wings are to die for. The menu describes them as "Tim's World Famous" and it's right on. The hickory smoke flavor combined with Tim's hot sauce, what a combo. And I can't leave out the staff. Everybody is... More

Love this place when I have a hankering for some Cajun cooking. Fried pickles, alligator tail, and many other fine foods can be found here. It is conveniently located just off the I-565 corridor on Jordan Lane (north side).

You will like this place if you: - Like unique atmospheres - Like spicy Cajun food - Like bread pudding Don't go if you: -Expect a "clean new" restaurant feel (it's a redone Pizza Hut decorated with Mardi Gras theme and is somewhat old) -Are a picky eater (only go here for Cajun food) -Want high quality food (get what... An unassuming looking former Pizza Hut on Jordan Lane houses an excellent Cajun restaurant with a really cool interior. Our first trip here, we ordered a crab spiced shrimp appetizer and a muffaletta (sandwich with meat, cheese and olive relish) with a side of onion rings to split (comes with the sandwich). Everything was very good to excellent, the most... More
