Good service, food needs improvement

My wife and I ate at Landry's on our anniversary because of its convenient location to our hotel. The décor was nice and service was good. The redfish I ordered was listed as a fresh fish item although I have doubt as to whether this was accurate. It was heavily seasoned, very salty, and... read more

Ate here for my birthday August 2015 since I belong to the Landry's select club. First off, I must tell you about my experience a year ago. I order the cedar salmon with a plum sauce. It was probably the best cooked salmon I have ever had. Returned this year, to find I will not be back to eat here... More

Server was very nice, but the food was not very good. I had the fried seafood platter and it was apparently cooked at too low of a temperature as it was extremely greasy, almost inedible. The beer was warm as well. Pretty pricey place for the low quality of food we got.

Last night my husband suggested to go to Landry's for dinner. Our daughter's reaction was " don't complain about the slow service". He nonetheless convinced us it would be different. We sat in the bar area and much to our dismay, Landry's was true to form. Service was very slow. There was a mix up with who ordered a salad.... More

We had a nice time and the food was very good. Service was good bit just a little slow, do not think it was the servers fault. Had multiple tables and a 12 top to boot. They teamed up so i tight they did a nice job. Seafood platter was good. Lettuce wedge was good. I would recommend.

We stopped in because it was right down the street from our hotel and had a delicious dinner. The cajun shrimp garlic bread was divine, and they served one of the best creme brulees I ever had.

First want to say that the service was great and very attentive. The food however was not as great. I ordered the buttermilk fried shrimp and the Filet Mignon with Loaded Baked Potato. In addition I got a ceasar salad as part of the meal. The shrimp were fried but had a very greasy aftertaste. For $10 you get 4... More

The grounds around the restaurant are beautiful, but the food was so disappointing. We could have gotten much better quality meals at chains like Chilis, Applebee's, etc. The fried fish was inedible, the shrimp remoulade was fishy, and the bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp was really bad. The only good dishes we had were the appetizer firecracker shrimp and the onion... More

The service was very good and our server worked very hard. The outside and inside of the restaurant were nicely decorated and landscaped. Beyond that we were disappointed with Landry's. The crawfish was fishy tasting. The fried fish was over-breaded. The clam chowder was just OK. The only thing that was cooked well was the firecracker shrimp. I would not... More

Stopped at Landry's on a weekend visit to Huntsville and was sorely disappointed. Not only in the service but the quality of the food. The waiter and the bartender that was serving our area seemed very upset to be there. The only food that was good was the appetizer of Ahi poke tacos and raw oysters. The meals themselves left...
