The restaurant has a really nice menu and wine list and (almost) overwhelming attentive service. On the square in downtown Huntsville, it is easy to get to and fairly easy to park. The downside is that tables are very close together and the noise level is very high making it difficult to have a semi-private conversation. Great for special occasions.

Food is very well prepared and well presented on the plate. Quality is first rate. Service is attentive and pleasant. Serving size is modest, but not unreasonable. Prices are relatively high, but correspond to the value of the food. Dining room is too crowded. Space is limited and patrons are sitting too close to each other. Patrons are jammed together... Went for a business dinner and ate at the bar. It is a little noisier than I would like but not terrible. The ambiance is more upscale as is the menu, unfortunately the menu is kind of small. The prices are a little high but worth it. The chicken wings were good, nothing special. I had a bowl of gulf... More

I've eaten there three times while visiting Huntsville. The fried green tomatoes are a delicious appetizer to share. The buttermilk fried chicken is consistently delicious. I don't routinely eat or enjoy the taste of grits, but the creamy sauce shrimp and grits is full of flavor and their interpretation made me reconsider. The waiter brought me a sample of the... More

The commerce kitchen is a small restaurant in downtown Huntsville. The food was good but the service was very very slow. The dish I ordered was supposed to come with a side sauce which was never brought out. When I asked they said they would check but never came back. A little pricey for what you get. And not the... We wanted to visit here as Boyce is opening a new restaurant in our home city of Birmingham. We love that section of town and how it's laid out (he has two other restaurants here) and we chose Commerce Kitchen on the recommendation of a friend. We enjoyed the started cornmeal crusted oysters... would have preferred a side of remoulade... More

This was the first time in a while that I visited a nice restaurant with a unique atmosphere that had reasonable prices and normal portion sizes. They were not the over size portions you get at a chain restaurant but they were enough to leave you satisfied. The menu choices were diverse and everything we had was unique in flavor... More

We had lunch here on a recent Friday. The place was not crowded and we were seated right away. From there the service became more lackadaisical. I kept wondering why it was taking so long for our server to get to us since the place was less than half full. We ordered wine, and had to ask to have it... More

First of all 5 stars usn't enough, it needs 9 stars. We found this gem back in the Spring, while visiting from Tn., fell in love with it and made plans then,if we ever stayed near there we would visit again. It's very classy, upscale dining, of linen, wine glass table seating, but also cozy, comfortable, laid back!(already planning an adults weekend... More

Had a business lunch at this restaurant. It's way nicer than a typical lunch spot yet the prces are reasonable for what you receive. Set up is one large room surrounded by boths with table sin the middle. Unortunately it gts real loud in here so everyone was forced o practically hout at each other to be heard at our... More
