I drove 65 miles to try this restaurant and was surprised as to how good it is. I have not had German food since being in Berlin a few years ago and this food is close to tasting the same. Great experience. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys German food.

Had heard about this place from friends, so when I had a chance to be in Huntsville for work, I decided to give it a try. Sure glad I did. Excellent Sauerbraten. Well worth the price. And the Strudel reminded me of my grandmother's. Worth going back to, for sure. Colleagues all said the same things about their meals. None... More

You can order the light fare such as chicken cordon bleu with cold german potato salad and then add a heavy dessert with coffee, nice place to stop for lunch.

I went here for lunch, and I'm sorry to say I won't be going back. I order the Jeagerschnitzel and it tasted like a breaded steak with plain brown gravy. Didn't taste authentic at all.

If you like German food, I suggest a visit. Pros: very good food; ambiance; excellent beer Cons: wait staff weren't very friendly; expensive Make a reservation or get there early.

My coworkers love this place so they finally talked me into eating here for lunch. The Reuben was ok but not spectacular and not even warm. I would probably go back again and hope for warm food next time.

I have been visiting this restaurant for over 5 years. I go there at least twice each time I visit Huntsville, AL. The food is authentic, delicious German food. The service is wonderful. Not only are the servers efficient, they are helpful, knowledgeable, and just plain fun. No matter which server is assigned to your table, they will all stop... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. We've been to Germany and can say that this restaurant is authentic. The food is wonderful. The restaurant is located in a mall and you really have to look for it. Otherwise, it's just right.

I stopped by today when I arrived from the airport and was pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered the Schlachtplatte which consists of a choice of three of their four sausages. All were very good, served hot and with boiled potatoes and red cabbage. The menu had the typical schnitzels and German-American fare. This was the lunch menu. I'd... More

Having lived in Germany for several years, this restaurant brought back many good memories. Typical German fare, well prepared. Prices were reasonable - around $20 for most meals, Good assortment of schnitzels and wursts.
