My wife and I decided to get out of the house for a drink and appetizers. I had a delicous flight of beers and my wife enjoyed her wine and a martini. We ordered a few appetizers and enjoyed ourselves very much. The service was excellent--timeliness, order specifics, and knowledge of the menu. We will go back for dinner.

We hosted my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at 1892 East Restaurant for 20 people. The food was superior as was the service.

I am partial to local, neighborhood restaurants and 1892 is a great example of why! We went for Sunday Brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food that is either produced or cropped locally, cooked to perfection paired with great local beer list and a very decent wine list is what you will find when u visit 1892 east.

For travelers who want quality, but very healthy meals....the options are surprisingly limited on the road. 1892 East is a rare exception. VERY nice menu, and very interesting selections. Food was great. Atmosphere was very nice. Will come back next time I'm in Huntsville for sure.
