I have heard about this place for a while and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the deep dish upon the manager's suggestion. Don't get me wrong - it isn't bad and is very very filling. I just thought it was more of a casserole than a pizza. It was honestly a mushy mess to eat but did... More

the Chicago deep dish style of the pizza here is fabulous. Flavors are blended well with each bite and value for money was very good. It's a nice switch from the rest of the pizzas around town.

Imagine you are driving on an interstate in a distant state and you slip by an eighteen wheeler with a bumper sticker which says “Roll Tide” or “War Eagle”. Imagine how that would warm your heart, fill it with pride and nostalgia and fond memories. This is what ex-Chicagoans feel when walking into Tortuga’s. Chicago sports memorabilia and images grace... Althought you really need to call ahead and place your order, you can not get a better Chicago style pizza. It takes 45 mins to prepare and cook but the wait is worth it. Just go with a group because you will be hard pressed to eat much more than one slice. Yummy, making myself hungry! Now, I gotta go... More

For a little shop far away from Chicago the pizza is great. They have an excellent deep dish and it's hard to find a good one outside of Chicago.

Nice change from all the other pizza places. It's not fast food, though. If you want the Chicago-style pizza, plan ahead. We called in our carry-out order over an hour before we actually ate. We ordered cheese and carne (meat-lovers). Two small/medium size pies fed six hungry adults. We all preferred the carne. Not quite as good as Chicago's Giordano's,... More

I lived in the Chicago area for many years, so am always on the look out for great tasting pizza. Thin crispy crust or deep pan pizza - this restaurant makes both. We were in the area for a conference and asked at the hotel lobby where we should go for good pizza, they first recommended another place, but when... More

First things first: Their food is Amazing!!! Seriously. The fact that everything is handmade makes it all the more awesome. You can taste the love put into it all. I love their meatball sub! Even their basic pepperoni and cheese pizza is killer! They also have a very nice selection of beer. Local brews are what I go for. Their... More

You have to look for the cafe, found in a strip mall down from a major shopping center. The pizza takes a bit to get once ordered, but so worth the wait. Very good, just like the once in the Windy City. Make the trip!
