Some of the best service I have ever had. My glass never came close to being empty. She was just "in training" too. Ribeye was right on.
Was taken out to J Alexanders for a celebration dinner. It was my first visit to any J Alexander's. It was all fantastic! My girlfriend and I were attended to the very second we stepped through the door! The service continued to be professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our dining experience! The food was wonderful! So flavorful. We ordered simple... More
We spent the day golfing at Oxmoor Valley (played both the Ridge Course and the Short Course). We were hungry but looking for a nice meal out with good food, some good drinks and a nice atmosphere but not to quite. J Alexander's was just what we were looking for. Great service we must had over 4 people attend to... More
I ate at this property this afternoon. I recommend the Chardonnay Mer Soleil ($11.00 per glass). At the recommendatuion of the server, I tried the Velvet Red Devil Merlot ($9.00),;but I was not impressed. I tried the Salmon Dip, but the entrees (particularly the pork loin) are better. Extra points for service; it was attentive and accurate.
Love this place. Never has let me down. I have only been twice but the service and the food has always been perfect. Nice place for friends and family.. Perfect for a date night.. Darker with candles.. Great music playing.. With everything you can think of to eat..Cant wait to go back.
One of the top chain restaurants that doesn't fell like a chain. The food is always prepared to perfection. My favorite is always the Steak Maui with a massive portion of mashed potatoes. Still miss the croissants, J. Alexander's if you are listening please bring them back, they are sorely missed.
This is a nicer place for a date night or with your family. Their food is delicious and the service is wonderful. It is a good atmosphere, not noisy, where you can talk to others without having to repeat yourself. I have eaten here many times and it has never been disappointing.
I love eating here. The Prime Rib is the best. We went for New Years Eve and it was crowded. We ordered the Prime Rib and got the end cut. I do not like extremely rare meat so this was medium.
We celebrated my daughter's birthday at this restaurant in January. The service was prompt and courteous and at times, humorous. All the servers seem to help each other with everything. The food was good and that is what I expected for the price that I was paying ($150 for 5 people). J Alexander's does not help with celebrations such as... More
