Great Italian!

We recently took a friend of ours out to eat here along with a nephew and several nieces (8 total in our group). It was a fabulous experience all around. The wine selection was very good ( they have a wine store out back that actually has limited sitting for which reservations are not taken) and we... read more

My husband and I went for dinner on a Thursday night. The place was packed but there was room at the bar. The car has to be valet parked, which is fortunate because it was cold! We had beer and wine. We had a nice tomato mozzarella salad. I had the special pork chop on beans and rab. The chop... More

Great place! Friendly down to earth staff. Healthy portions! Great recommendations for items to enjoy. Had the veal parm and friend had the grouper. Veal is plenty to share for two people. Had the goat cheese and watermelon app that was phenom!! Finished with cheesecake that was out of this world! No need to try other restaurants! A must stop!

Have dined both in the main dining room and wine bar out back and both are superb. On the menu, I love the penne a la vodka, but there's always a special that temps me as well. Last night that special was lobster stuffed shells and it was fantastic. Staff is helpful and not pretentious. It's an all around great... More

Love this place, nestled in a neighborhood. Lasagna, Penne ala Vodka, Carpaccio, all amazing. The wine bar out back is great if you don't have reservations the staff is over the top service oriented. be prepared for the specials list it will cause you to second guess your choices.

Enjoyed a business dinner here recently, and I can't wait to return! All the food was wonderful. Fresh ingredients, and wonderful flavors. I had the pork tenderloin and it was cooked to perfection. Like the other reviews stated, make sure and have reservations. And take advantage of valet parking. It's a very small restaurant in an older neighborhood, so parking... More

First to note... You need a reservation or be ok to eat on the later side of the evening here. This restaurant is tucked away in a quant neighborhood and you are likely to miss it if you are not paying attention. The food was excellent, we had the ravioli and braised beef short rib risotto on this visit. The... More

Coming to the area for the Alabama/Auburn game this past weekend, eagerly researched restaurants for a post-Thanksgiving date night. Gianmarco's seemed to fit the bill. While I was unable to get reservations even 2 weeks in advance, was assured the Wine Bar would likely be able to accommodate. Upon arriving, the maitre'd of the main restaurant affirmed he was still... More

This was our second trip to this restaurant. The food is delicious. Regular Italian dishes plus more. My husband had rack of lamb, and I had sole. There were so many good things on the menu that it was hard to decide what to order. We brought our own wine ($20 corkage fee), but they have a nice wine list.... More
