It's inexpensive. It's greasy. It's great. If you are looking for a place to get some much needed food after a night of *cough* adventuring, this is a great place. I have eaten at the Purple Onion for nearly 20 years. Recently the quality of food and service has degraded significantly to the point I will no longer eat there. Inexpensive tasty food. The Gyros are great...and pretty close to authentic. The atmosphere is...adequate....but just that. Adequate. Nothing fancy at this place...but then I'm not one to pay for atmosphere.

Ate here just once but was pleasantly surprised. They had my food (Philly Cheese Steak) done very quickly and it was tasty. Definitely worth eating here if you like sandwiches..

Just found out that the lamb meat...well...let's just call it "lamb" meat. But it's good, whatever it is! I love the fact that this place is open all night.
