Great Seafood, Great Service

I've been meaning to come back to this restaurant to properly acknowledge my many pleasant experiences. I was in Homewood for business in June/July. I've been meaning to come back to this restaurant to properly acknowledge my many pleasant experiences. I was in Homewood for business in June/July. I worked my way through some less desirable choices before hitting Landry's. It became by "go to" for almost about a month; and I was there about 3 times a week. I always got great service;... More

Crab cakes with only slight amount of seasoning and binding agent to a large amount of crabmeat. House Dijon mustard vinaigrette was delicious as well.

Ate there 7/8. Restaurant sits off main highway several blocks in a building that we thought was a movie theatre at first. We ate about 4:30p and the place was sparsely populated when we arrived. It took several minutes for someone to seat us in their large dining area. Our waiter Nick arrived with a menu and took our drink... More

The employees were more then happy to provide service and seemed to be generally in a good up beat mood working there and for me to see that is a huge plus. As far as the food I only had the fried seafood platter...which was alright but probably not the best choice to pass any judgment..the employees attitudes alone where... More

Landry's is quite expensive and serving size is less than in many restaurants. I know that just being a seafood place pushes up costs, but I'm not sure they go this high. Our server overdid the friendly bit and it was difficult to disengage him to turn in our order! Then he was hard to find when we wanted to... More

My family and I have eaten at several Landry's in the Southeast and the Homewood restaurant rates about as good as the others. The prices are average, the service is good, and the food is average for the price paid.

This is a very nice restaurant. The food selection is very good and what I ordered was well presented and quite tasty. My waiter was a young man who made a remark about being able to enjoy a beer when he turns 21. And he has a wonderful Alabama accent. One feature I like is that there is an overhead... More
