Landry's is Consistent

My family and I have eaten at several Landry's in the Southeast and the Homewood restaurant rates about as good as the others. The prices are average, the service is good, and the food is average for the price paid.

This is a very nice restaurant. The food selection is very good and what I ordered was well presented and quite tasty. My waiter was a young man who made a remark about being able to enjoy a beer when he turns 21. And he has a wonderful Alabama accent. One feature I like is that there is an overhead... More

We had a very good meal there - nice ambiance and the quality of the food was outstanding - service great - will definitely come again, when in the area!

Good seafood. Don't have your fish blackened. I guess I have to add more comments to get to the 100 character minimum. Not great in no way bad. Lot's of locals celebrating graduation.

Great price for happy hour but typical bar food, nothing gourmet. Didn't eat dinner - just happy hour items served in the bar.

First and last visit to a Landry's. Visiting son and we decided to drop in. Waiter, and later Manager, were nice but kitchen was dismal. I gad seafood pasta dish, son had filet with skewer of blackened shrimp and wife had worst filet she has ever experienced; so bad she had to send it back. Seafood pasta dish was supposed... More

We visit Birmingham about once a year. We don't have many good seafood restaurants in our hometown so Landry's became a favorite for us a few years ago and we try to take in a meal here whenever we're in town. Unfortunately, our last 3 visits to Landry's have been downright disappointing but this latest visit was the last. Our... More

Had dinner at Landry's on a Thursday night. My first trip to any of their franchises and had high hopes. Initial impression was good-the atmosphere was quiet and cheerful. Got off to a rough state with my server. She seemed to have missed my arrival. Once we got on track she was quite helpful. Anyway, I ordered the crawfish etouffee... More

In town for a few nights and went for Dinner. I ordered from their 3 course menu. Fish n' Chips were good, came with fries and onion strings, salad was crisp and fresh. Creme Brulle for desert. Overall good dinner.

I recently ate dinner here because it was convenient. Ordered the salmon and it was okay just not great. Service was average. The dining room is nicely appointed and relaxing. I also ordered a wedge, the dressing was good. There are much better places to eat in Birmingham. If you are staying in that area it is convenient but be... More
