Dude. I literally texted the picture of food to all my boys back in TX and raved about it once home. My wife and I travelled from Central TX through Little Rock, Memphis, up to Nashville, and down through Birmingham on the way home. We had BBQ at each stop. This was, and by a long wide measure, the best... More

Most folks in town have a favorite place for BBQ but after surveying several folks and doing some research this place came in on top and got our business. It was likely on of the best BBQ meals I have had in a while!!! I heard about white sauce too on chicken and this was the place where I ended... More

Be early for lunch -- this very cool place fills up quickly. The BBQ is very good, the prices are a bit high.

Take it out--don't sit, one of the better BBQ's in town. I particularly enjoy their sauce but the meat has a good stand alone taste. The stuffed potatoes are quite a meal in itself and they must have found farmers that give the taters steroids they are so big

I use to live in the area. Started going to Saw's when it first opened. Took my now husband here, when we first started dating. He swears, it's hard to eat BBQ anywhere else, after one bite of Saw's! We travel all over the country and this is the BBQ we compare all other BBQ to. Yes, there is usually... More

I used to get a loaded potato with pulled pork in Houston and it was good but this was so much better! I will be back again.

I have visited this property twice, and it remains my favorite bar-b-q restaurant in Birmingham area. On my first visit, I ordered the bar-b-que sandwich; and I was unimpressed. On my second visit, I had 1/2 slab of pork ribs, and they are the best I have tasted. The amount was plentiful, the food was great, and the price was... More

During a trip to Birmingham, we drove out of our way to visit this restaurant. We were very disappointed. The ribs on my plate were charred to the point that I could hardly eat them. I threw most of them away when I left. My wife's BBQ pork plate was a very small portion of meat, and two small sides... More

We visited Saw's during the week for lunch. Place was crowded which most of the time is a good sign for good food. The crowded restaurant didn't lie (though the restaurant is very small). We had barbecue sandwiches (chicken and pork) plus the half chicken plate. The chicken was delicious (two people should share half chicken plate) the pork was... More
