Good variety of menu choices, and staff is always friendly. We have been here many times and never had a bad experience. Would recommend this to anyone who lives in or is visiting the area!!!!

We've been here twice--once by car and once by boat. Both times was delightful. The restaurant is huge! In every direction I looked, there was another dining room. I just love oysters on the half-shell and our server hand-picked the most succulent ones for me and they were mouthwatering. Their "special" was a lemon martini and that was refreshing. I... More

Had dinner at Wintzell's in Guntersville yesterday with a friend. The place itself is charming with ample parking. It is a great place to catch up with friends with a beer or a glass of wine. The seafood is good and the portions generally nice and small. The food has that pleasant Southern afterburner I like very much. The people... More

This was our first visit to the Guntersville location, and the service and food was just as good as the Huntsville location we're used to. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. AAA+

Had the large appetizer sampler of oysters - they were all amazing. The Mahi and Shrimp Cobb salad very good. Very casual atmosphere but food is excellent.

Wonderful food delicious, cool atmosphere, waiting nearly two hours on our meal. Was there for an Diabetes camp event and they were told a large group would be coming at certain time. Manager said unprepared for party of that size but they advertise that they have a Banquet room available for large groups??! Does that make sense?

I must preface this by stating that I am not a seafood person. Still, the chicken is good and the weekday drink specials were good and appreciated. It is right down from the Guntersville Hampton Inn (parking lots adjoin)

Two of us ate dinner at the Guntersville Wintzell's in early May. Slow service and so so catfish. The breading was very bland and the fish tasted frozen. Side dishes tasted as if they'd come from a #10 can. We chose the restaurant because it was next door to our hotel. We wished we had gotten in the car and... More
