Asking for recommendations for restaurants, we were told to try King Neptunes. I had read mixed reviews here on Tripadvisor, so didn't know what to expect. The food here is so delicious. It is a small place, but we were there in the off season so no problem. Our waitress Marcia was great, so helpful and friendly. I had the... More

The lunch menu here is inexpensive and a good selection of seafood. With that being said the food was average tasting. Would I eat there again, probably but there are so many other places to eat seafood in the area I would like to try before I return.

We've eaten here twice during our week stay. The first time with a party of seven and second with a party of two. Seating is definitely limited and the bathrooms are outside (but clean). With our party of seven we were seated quickly because we chose to have a chair at the end of our booth (no biggie for us).... More

We ate here in early August at the recommendation of a local person when we were in search of local fish on the Gulf coast. We were there at lunchtime, and the place was packed, but most folks seemed to be having the plate lunch--no fish there. My husband had a flounder filet po-boy and I had the oyster po-boy.... More

This was not been our 1st trip to King Neptune’s however it was our 1st trip back since the new menu and while the food was just OK and not good we found the dishes were over prices and undersized for the money. I had asked if I could order one of the lunch time baskets, and was told no... More

We went to Neptune's based on a recommendation and viewing the menu online. We were surprised to find a new menu when we got there that didn't include many of the items off the online one. The restaurant would not move tables together to accommodate our party of seven. We stayed. Wish we hadn't. The waitress seemed indifferent about the... More

Overall we had a good experience. The crab legs were great. The deep sea scallops were smaller than I expected but still good. Best thing was the margaritas.... super cheap and very yummy. I would have loved to buy a gallon of it to bring back to the condo. It was expensive but really it was average prices for great... More

The seafood was great, we just felt like it was pretty over priced. The place was an old gas station so the only restrooms are outside; two of us had crab and they didn't have wet naps so outside to wash we went. Over all if I am basing a review on the flavor of the food alone I'd say... More

This place has Great Food and Service. Wait can sometimes get long due to its popularity; however, it is worth the wait.

When we arrived, it was so much smaller than expected. A place that had amazing reviews we just assumed would be bigger. But it was cute and the service was quick and very friendly! Their asiam calamari was so good! It had a little bit of heat but nothing too hot! And had the right about of sweet. Their broiled... More
