Nice resturant,friendly staff

We ate breakfast here many times. Try the shrimp&crab omlet, Great. They also have a buffet but i couldn't get past that omlet. The staff is super friendly. Place is a little dated but it's clean and they make you feel at home in this ol diner. Very fair priced.

Had breakfast here on a Friday morning as we were leaving the beach. From the moment we entered and had a staff member greet us, to asking us if we wanted to put our names on her list to be seated, we were in for a unique dining experience. This place states that it begin in 1957 or 1959 and... More

Gulf Shores has really boomed in recent years but you can still find some cool local places to eat amongst all the chains and franchises. Hazels is one of those places. Great Cafe breakfast and lunches and even a breakfast and lunch buffet for you big eaters-all at very nice prices. The service is very good with a little good... More

I've heard about Hazel's for several years. I'm not sure why I kept driving by it. Today was our first visit. We were greeted by two very energetic servers since there was not a hostess. I loved the retro decor and the old TVs that surround the place. My wife and I both got the breakfast buffet and were very... More

Hazels Nook was a complete unexpected surprise. When you arrive it doesn't look impressive from the outside, just a small little building with a packed parking lot! Once inside it can be a bit crowded but the food makes up for any short comings in size! Their breakfast is amazing....omelets, pancakes cooked while you watch. Go with something off the... More

Chose to eat here because parking lot was full and it's usually a good sign. Well, probably wouldn't go back. Buffet is expensive for lunch and food isn't anything to write home about. Fish tacos were more salsa than fish. French fries and onion rings greasy. Service was good it's a shame food was lacking.

We researched several options, and went here since they do breakfast at lunch. The building doesn't look so hot but the food and the service was really good. The fried shrimp was wonderful, with a very light breading. And the Po'boys were also great. Very friendly service!
