Didn't eat the crab legs, but they looked small. I usually like crab, but these looked like a lot of work for a little crab. Having said that, watching the folks that went for them was like watching a flock of seagulls going after a bit of bread. Our server was fantastic. I had the buffet and my wife ordered... More

As a restaurant owner it is difficult to not criticize other establishment's mistakes. My family was so impressed with this small, comfortable atmosphere. Food was great! Service was even better!!

This is a little café that doesn't seat many but it was awesome. The best biscuits I have had in a long time. The buffet has everything you could want. The service is awesome. Get there early because you will have to wait it you don't. It's a little crowded inside but I felt it was worth it. The prices... More

Our experience has been mainly with events catered by Hazel's. The food isn't bad, but nothing is outstanding or especially seasoned, just average, tending to greasy. Haven't been there for breakfast, and ate there too many years ago to comment now.

Our hotel clerk recommended this place. I don't understand why. I was looking forward to some southern hospitality, but for a perfect stranger to great you with "Baby", or "Sugar", or "Honey", was culture shock. My husband and I are always on the look out for non-chain restaurants that straddle the line between down-home and hole-in-the-wall. The décor however, was... More

It's a small place but they easily accommodated our group of 7 with no problem. The waitress was a little dull but we had the breakfast buffet so we didn't need her much. It took them a while to restock the buffet so we had to wait and watch and pounce when what we wanted came out. Everything was really... More

Leaving the Hangout Music Festival on Monday we were looking for a place to eat breakfast. Fortunately my son saw the sign for Hazel's Nook. The consensus of the whole family was the place was great. Overall the buffet was excellent and the hash browns casserole and the gravy were to die for! The cost was less the $9.00 (they... More

This was recommended by the person we rented a house from. He was dead on! Excellent southern breakfast buffet made by very friendly people. I was wanting grits and I sure did get them. Can't beat those southern biscuits, either.
