I love the welcoming waitresses, the coffee kept coming without asking, and the at home feeling when dining. It was moderately priced for the buffet and we went back another time on Easter Sunday. Same great experience.

Average, greasy food . The "fruit" bar consisted of 3 fruits straight from the can . Not fresh - to say the least. Unsanitary buffet with the tongs laying in the food where people were touching the food. The omelette station attendant was not even wearing gloves while making the food. Sticky floors and tables. I do have to say...

Have eaten here several times over the years and I've never been disappointed. My experience is only with breakfast but whether it's the buffet or order off menu it's fabulous. The service is always fast & friendly and the atmosphere is just fine. Check em out!
When choosing a place to eat its always good to see a local crowd. Whether its snowbirds or just local folk they go where the food is best. Breakfast buffet at hazels nook is superb. The food stayed fresh and tasted very good. The waitress was extremely friendly and took great care of her customers. Pleasant breakfast experience!!!
We had breakfast at Hazel's Nook this morning. The coffee cups said it has been there since 1957. They have a buffet for $8.00 but we ordered from the menu. I had a meal for less than $5.00, 2 eggs, biscuit, grits, coffee. Mr. had a waffle, eggs, bacon. Good food. Excellent servers. The ladies were friendly, funny, and loud,...

I have only come here for the breakfasts and never tried the popular buffet. My food is always perfect as is the service. Will definitely keep returning!
Checked tablecloths on the tables, greeted immediately by friendly servers, quickly seated, and coffe brought to the table for the coffe drinkers. Ordered off the menu instead of doing the buffet. Good southern cooked food. Servers are joking and talking with customers. Will go back.
Hazel's Nook reminds you of your local, family-owned cafe where the locals gather in groups for breakfast or lunch. The tables reminded me of diner tables with red and white squares on the table cloths and waitresses who know everybody either by sight or mouth! Anyway, Wille, our waitress was friendly, funny and helpful. We had the breakfast buffet (although...

We stop by for lunch during Thanksgiving week. Outside appearance this seem to be a diner. They had a very small buffet - 2 meats, salad, 2 veggies and cobbler. UGH - very bland, poor quality food. Waitress was aggressively friendly and couldn't keep her hands to herself! We couldn't get out of there fast enough!!
I enjoyed eating here. Fresh made omelets to order, plus buffet, at a reasonable price, breakfast served till eleven am, i like that. I plan on eating here again next time in in Gulf Shores.
