Ordered a dozen plain beignets for breakfast this morning. They tasted good, very much like a square funnel cake with tons of powdered sugar. Seemed fairly priced under $10 with tax.

They were a no frills type of place. They had good service. Not to busy. The original beignet by the dozen to split with family was a good deal. They were a good close to the New Orleans original. Just the right amount.

What a great way morning break: beignets and coffee and both are excellent here. Ok, maybe some might find them a little heavy on the powdered sugar but I loved them. YUM
