Cafe Beignets has been around for years. They are a traditional sweet indulgence at the beach. I stick with the plain beignets, but filled options are available. Service was quick and efficient.

We tried this place after passing it several times. The menu was very limited and the service wasn't very friendly.

Cafe Beignets is definitely worth a stop for breakfast if they're in the area. Not as good as the beignets in New Orleans, but still really good. We got plain beignets, but I'd like to try the filled ones next time. The staff was very friendly.

Apparently they close early, at around 12, so get there early! They also close if they sell out. The plain beignets were OK, just fried puffs with tons of sugar on top. It was nice that when we brought a diabetic they refrained from putting sugar on top. However, the filled ones were amazing!! They had vanilla pudding in them... More

We stopped in mid-morning since we heard it was worth visiting. Located in a little strip mall, Cafe Beignet doesn't disappoint. All the pastries are made to order and all by hand. They do one thing and do it well. If you go, be aware that they're much more filling than they look. Be sure to try the lemon filled.... More

These little beignets are so good. I had never had a beignet before and expected a more donut like treat. These were like sweet pillows of bread. I especially like the cream filled, chocolate covered variety.

I always make it a point to stop by when we are in Gulf Shores which is usually a several times a year to pick up several orders of their beignets and take back to our condo. Always fresh and hot and the staff has always been friendly to us.

We had not had a beignet in years, wanted to share the delight with our teens. This little gem is in a strip shopping center, nothing fancy. They keep it simple here, 3 to an order and cooked while you wait - so worth the short wait! Try them plain with lots of powdered sugar or if you have a... More

We vacationed in Gulf Shores recently and happened up on this cafe on our way to Fort Morgan. It has been years since I had a beignet and wanted to share it with my daughter. Their air conditioning had gone out so they were miserably hot but that did not influence their hospitality one bit. Everyone was so friendly and... More
