Had a great lunch with my wife of 25 years on Monday Dec.7 2014. We had raw oysters on the half shell for the appetizer, fresh. Cups of shrimp creole & gumbo, potato salad, blackened tuna & blackened mahi. It's was all good but the surprise was the potato salad, literally the best I have ever had. This will be... More

We stopped by for a cocktail and appetizer before going on a sunset cruise. We had the steamed big red shrimp and they were delicious! Of course, we were the only ones there at 4:00 p.m. and we didn't have any other food, but the shrimp were great.

The steamed shrimp were a nice size they were not over cooked and had a wonderful flavor. They have nice outdoor seating and during the spring and fall it's a nice place to sit and enjoy.

On our recent trip to the shrimp festival, we wanted good seafood that was not fried. The restaurant name "steamer and baked oysters" got our attention. The gumbo was below average and the baked oysters were just terrible. The kitchen was under staffed and everything about the service was poor. I would not recommend eating at this restaurant

Just as the title said, and lots of it, we sent the first batch of steamed ones back. The crab was a little over cooked but not too bad, the sausage shrimp and potatoes were really good. The place was clean and employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Had better and worse, I would eat there again.

My wife and I were out looking for souvenirs to send to our grandchildren. We noticed The Steamer & Baked Oyster Bar tucked in between two souvenir shops. We decided to have lunch. We shared the shrimp and Royal Reds shrimp platter. The waitress was friendly and knew the menu. This was the best shrimp I have ever had! The... More

This was our first meal of a 4 day trip. Food was great but the staff was even better. Will be back!

We had the bacon wrapped scallops which were excellent and very reasonable in terms of price. It is one of our favorite dining places in the area.

Went for a late supper & there was a lineup/waiting list to get in so it took about 30 minutes (which is usually a good sign right?!). Our waitress was very friendly, attentive & efficient. We had the huge platter to share & they let us sub for raw oysters which I appreciated. All the seafood on the platter was... More
