Stop in for a hot turkey dinner with all the fixings - dressing, cranberry sauce two veg. and roll & cornbread or for one of there delicious sandwiches. On the lighter side, go for there turkey salad. All good, fresh from free range, natural turkey's. Everything is delicious!

You have to seat yourself and they call your order by your name. As well you silverware comes out of a dispenser. We had to clean off our own table and the food had no seasoning in was very bland. It was my first and last visit.

This home-style restaurant is a refreshing change from comparably-priced 'chain' restaurants along I-65. You have to watch carefully for the billboard signs, since they're a smaller size than the bigger and higher-up eye-catching ones...and we only saw one while traveling south and one going north. So if you want to be sure not to miss out on Bates House of... More

Turkey and sides are delicious. The employees have zero customer service skills. This is not first visit and food and service are consistent as described. If you don't mind apathetic employees the food is worth it.

Their turkey salad was delicious. This is a no-frills family restaurant but was clean and neat. I stopped on the way home to get some of their turkey sausage for dinner and it was reasonably priced and delicious.

I make a point to stop here everytime i come through on my way from the gulf coast back home to ATL. I do this 1-2 times a year. This is a simple place - nothing fancy but great home cooking with turkey as the main course. staff is always friendly I even get a turkey sandwich for the road... More

We discovered that, like many things in the South, many businesses close earlier than one would expect. Who would have thought that a restaurant that serves food that a person would eat for dinner would close at 6 pm? Such was the case with Bates House of Turkey. It was 5:58 when we walked in and the gal at the... More

This is not what you might expect. The turkey and dressing had no flavor. No sage, no seasoning just bland. The potatoes appeared to be instant. Please ignore the billboards. There are better choices. Save the turkey craving for Thanksgiving.

This has always been a great stop. The turkey plate with dressing is a must. I'm pretty sure they supply the turkeys for the white house. It is easy to so why.

Having passed this exit for years, I decided three trips ago to give this longtime option a shot. What a great change from everything else along the interstate. But if you aren't interested in turkey, don't stop. Very good meal and good value. Nice desserts. And don't forget your turkey jerky for a road snack…not kidding.
