The experience was peaceful and comfortable. The waitress was on track. She knew what everyone order. Shanire was awesome. She did a wonderful job with our table of 17. We had family members from Wisconsin to Florida.

Always great service and food. You'll need a doggie bag for sure! The cornbread and slaw come with every meal as an appetizer and are awesome!

I was in Gadsden Alabama on business and my group had dinner here. The service(Jaly) was excellent and the food was very good. I had a grilled rib eye steak which was cooked perfectly. The restaurant provides coleslaw and cornbread when you are seated and I think the coleslaw may be the best I've ever had! It was amazing! The... More

As always, the food was delicious. We ordered the catfish platter. The server was very good and checked on us several times. We are never disappointed with the service or food. They were very crowded but we only had to wait a few minutes. We will be back again.

The fried pickles are great! Don't eat too many 'cause you won't have room for the main course. Fried whole catfish (bone in) gets you 3 fish. And there's cornbread & hush puppies, cole slaw, & greens. Large place, but service is quick. Overall, a great place to eat!

Had the catfish platter, could eat all of it......had a carry box. As stated in other reviews, best to visit during the week, when less crowded. TOP beats all other seafood restaurant around, none can compare. The wait staff was friendly and provided excellent service.

Great seafood. We have traveled for almost 2 hours to eat here. Always visit whenever we camp anywhere nearby. It is crowded from opening to closing time but go during the week, get there when they open, etc.... to avoid so much wait.

The fried catfish, hush puppies, shrimp and slaw were good. The artificial crab dish was horrible. The service was good and prices were OK. Very good atmosphere. Partial water view and clean facilities.

We were here for an anniversary and we were not disappointed. The seafood was great, and they gladly replaced an item that I did not care for without any argument -- and quickly enough that the rest of the food did not get cold. The staff was very easy to work with. We both love the cornbread that is cooked... More

Decided to try Top O The River based on TA reviews and was not disappointed. We shared the large seafood platter. This came with coleslaw, pickled onions and Mexican corn bread. A friend had also told us about their greens. We enjoyed a side order of them and would agree that they were some of the best from a restaurant.... More
