My coworker from India and I were traveling for work and looking for a good local dive. We went into this evening with the idea that the food should be very good, but we might end up with an instant heart attack from grease. We were wrong. The food was excellent, and the fried foods were not greasy liked we... More

This was our first visit here, but we will definitely be back. My 8 year old picky eater gave the catfish two thumbs up! After eating, walk along the back deck and feed the turtles, ducks, and huge carp! The kids loved watching the fish and turtles battle over the food!

We ate here at the recommendation of our hotel hostess when traveling through Gadsden. The food is plentiful!! Our server was cheerful and provided great service. We had the grilled shrimp on skewers and it was delicious. The cornbread and slaw they bring to your table are so good. It was difficult to stop eating the slaw. The meal came... More

Wait staff was great- Manager greeted us We didn't wait long at all even though the place was packed. They gave us a ton of food. We couldn't even eat it all and it was pretty affordable. My wife and I were traveling celebrating our first anniversary and this was a perfect stop with good food and a good price... More

I had heard many great things from the locals while on the Route 127 Longest Yard Sale. Very happy we tried it. I had been advised to get there early to beat the lines. We did just that. We got a great seat in a booth viewing the river. It was quite entertaining looking out and watching 12 - 20... More

Although the food was good, especially if you like fried food, for my husband and I, it was too big and way to loud

This is a very nice, very large restaurant over looking the river. The food was very good. A suggestion - Arrive early - it gets busy. We were there on a Monday night and it was packed.

Best fish in area, and wonderful side dishes as well. Fried pickles? Yes, wife loves them and not bad once I tried. Greens, cornbread and okra are outstanding and served family style, so be aware of serving sizes. You'll be needing a "to-go" box, either way, as they serve so much, and our eyes always exceed our capabilities, but hey- the... I ate at Top O' the River with two friends on Sunday night. It is nicely situated on the river and several of their booths in the rear of the dining room have a great view of the water. There were numerous herons and other birds that were on display the entire time we were there. There were also ducks... More

The experience was peaceful and comfortable. The waitress was on track. She knew what everyone order. Shanire was awesome. She did a wonderful job with our table of 17. We had family members from Wisconsin to Florida.
