The fried catfish, hush puppies, shrimp and slaw were good. The artificial crab dish was horrible. The service was good and prices were OK. Very good atmosphere. Partial water view and clean facilities.

We were here for an anniversary and we were not disappointed. The seafood was great, and they gladly replaced an item that I did not care for without any argument -- and quickly enough that the rest of the food did not get cold. The staff was very easy to work with. We both love the cornbread that is cooked... More

Decided to try Top O The River based on TA reviews and was not disappointed. We shared the large seafood platter. This came with coleslaw, pickled onions and Mexican corn bread. A friend had also told us about their greens. We enjoyed a side order of them and would agree that they were some of the best from a restaurant.... More

Great food, very large portions, reasonably priced, the atmosphere is very nice and the staff is very friendly. We will definitely go back anytime we're in the area.

Never had a bad meal there. The cornbread and slaw that are brought as appetizers makes the meal.Would recommend this to anyone with a big appetite.

This place is a favorite of many locals. It's great for dinner with or without family. The view of the river is nice. My kids enjoy the ducks.

As you enter the long hall that takes you to the sign in desk you almost want to run back and head out of the door in fear. The carpet is worn, the weird smell is disturbing and the place looks as though it was updated about the same time I was born and less just say that was a... More

You have to be fond of fried catfish here. It is the best around! Always crowded so be ready to wait.

My family has been going to this restaurant since it opened years ago. They seat you fast. You can reserve the back room for large or smaller parties! Love the slaw and cornbread & onion. I am usually full by then. I love their shrimp, grilled chicken fingers. The sauce is great! The restaurant is right along the Coosa River.... More

I go to this restarant about twice a year just because someone in my family wants to go. It's just not that interesting or that good for the price.
