I wish I could give negative stars to this establishment. Our family was seated and waited a good 10 minutes before anyone even came to give us menus/get drink order. It took another 15 to actually get her to return with the drinks and take our food order. During this time every table around us was complaining about the service.... More

Today I tried this fairly new restaruant in at the Oxford Exchange Shopping area in Oxford, AL. I will not be going there again! I waited about 5 minutes to be seated while I three employees totally ignored me. After I was seated I ordered a bbq and onion rings. The food was terrible. The onion rings were fried so... More

Their catfish dinner is better than Top of the River. Better tastin' and far better sides. Their hamburgers are VERY good also. Fresh meats and vegetables are part of their secret plus good recipes. Try their squash casserole. Vegetarian -- no problem. Their vegetable plate is VERY good. And their chicken BBQ salad -- it's NOT what you think. It's... More

Uncle Sam's has quality smoked barbecue. I had the chicken and it was great. They have steak fries which I loved and good sweet tea. What else could you want in a barbecue place.

I love eating here but you had better bring your appetite because they don't skimp on their portions. Definitely my favorite place to eat.

Everything about this restaurant screams "WE NO LONGER CARE." It USED to be fairly good. Yet, it has ALWAYS been WAY overpriced. A whole cream pie (fairly cheap ingredients) costs $20. The pie we got last night was running over on one side and the whipped topping did not cover a section of the filling. The server noticed this when... More

The advertisement on the sign said, "Best cheeseburgers in town". Uh, not so much. The cheeseburger was greasy and had massive amounts of mustard---I adore mustard, but even for me, it was way, way, way toooooo much mustard. The burger was so greasy that the bun became saturated with grease and mustard and had to be discarded----I had to eat... More

They have very good barbeque chicken & sqaush casserole. A little bit pricey but good taste. Nice employees

Our group of four shared BBQ pork and turkey, various side dishes, and a *huge* appetizer plate of fried pickles (in contrast to the skimpy servings I've seen at several Miami BBQ places lately). Meats are flavorful; some of the sides are pretty generic, maybe even canned. Friendly service. We didn't try the pies, which our companions insist are delicious.

Uncle Sam's BBQ is located on Rainbow Dr in Gadsden, AL. The food is very good and the staff is warm and friendly. The stuffed potato is very good.
