The rolls and the pass arounds are all a man needs, but then you get in there and see the menu and feel compelled to stuff your gut. We had a big group and only waited about 30 minutes on a Saturday night to get a seat. All the food is good. it is always crowded if you havent been... read more

Went to lunch at Lamberts for lunch. Decided to go when driving by and seeing a packed parking lot. Food average at best. The throwed rolls is the highlight and they are very good. We got roast beef , chicken and dumplings , and burgers. All meals are about 12.99. This includes all the pass arounds for free. Well ,... More

Ok, I was a little skeptical at first about this place, but it won me over. We went there for lunch, and it was a unique dining experience. If you are hungry, this is definitely the place for you. You will leave satisfied. The food is good and plentiful. The buns are remarkable. Definitely try the molasses and the apple... More

I went here with my daughter and greandchild!! The food is wonderful and way more than you can eat! A to go box is a must!! My grandson is only 2yrs old and he still caught rolls!! He thought it was the greatest thing and they gave him a balloon to take with us which he loved too! If you... More

Way too much food, but we had a ball. Almost no wait on a Monday night. They do throw the roll, constantly bringing sides to the table to refill you. I tried the hog jowl, yum. Everyone left satiated and happy, we'll be back!

Great place for the family. We have been here a couple times in the past during spring break. Get there before 5-5:30 since it seems to have a long line, no matter what day of the week. Our server was friendly and very attentive. My wife loved her chicken salad plate and the boys had a good burger. My meatloaf... More

The throwed rolls are the highlight. Country cooking, but not really any seasoning. At our table we had round steak, hamburger steak, chicken and dumplings and the fried shrimp. If we were to go back the fried shrimp would be the only plate we would be interested in. With the pass arounds the black eyed peas were great, really well... More

The service was great, and the food quick and good. My sons loved the roll throwing, experiencing rolls thrown clear across the dining room. Not only fun, but outstanding in taste and consistency. A great stop and a chance to enjoy a really good southern cooking.
