Good food and nice staff.

My son and I went there for lunch while on Spring Break. I had the fish po boy and he had the cheese burger. The burger was as big as he was and he said it was very good. The fish po boy was also very good although I don't believe it was local fish. We also got a free... read more

Set in a strip mall, with simple decor, good service, the food ranges from OK (fried oysters) to very good (soup, cole slaw, hush puppies). Fried shrimp was good, the French fries with it only ok, the iced tea was brewed and good.

The restaurant is off the road in a strip mall and can be easy to drive on by if you're not paying attention. First, lets talk about the interior. Its tacky and kitschy just like every other place I've been to in Foley. Very dated with tacky neon lighting in the dining room. The tables are lifetime plastic tables that... More

Recommended by a local as a must try, we were happy we made the choice to try it. Large portions of food. Drink specials weren't the best but would go back for the fresh food. Won't be disappointed. Good service and reasonable prices for what you get.

Have visited this "local" restaurant several times for lunch and have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly but can become a bit over stretched during busy lunch hour. Any wait is worth it. Don't let the name fool you, the "swamp soup" if good as is everything we have tried there; good value as well. Will we go back, next... More

Stopped in for the first time ever. Ordered an order of chicken tenders and my spouse had half a Rueben sandwich on rye. Came with a small portion of swamp soup. Was tasty and the other items on the menu looked enticing. Prices reasonable but nothing spectacular about this restaurant to ever go back.

After reading all the reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to try this restaurant & so glad we did. We went late afternoon and it was not too crowded, but a decent amount of people for the time of day. We were immediately seated by a friendly hostess & very quickly a waiter was taking our drink orders. He brought out... More

Had a late lunch here. Fried shrimp was great, as well as the "swamp soup", and the Redneck Rueben was delicious! Not bad for a strip mall joint. So-so ambience is the only reason I took off one star. Service was very friendly and attentive!

I have never seen such a friendly group of people running a restaurant. I am gluten free and got my shrimp and oysters prepared in just cornmeal. It was fantastic. I loved their swamp soup. My sister got grilled catfish and that was amazing, too. Even though this place is in a strip mall, it's got a lot going for... More
