Gelato Joes has more than just gelato. Having sandwiches, basic Italian food and wonderful desserts, Gelato's is the go to place for great food in Foley. If you're in the mood for a drink try out the Tiki Bar. You won't goo away hungry. Ciao.

Gelato Joe's is a great lunch and quick dinner place. The food is fresh and there is a nice variety of dishes that are unique and well done. The specials and salads are always fresh. The salads are really nice for lunch. The Strawberry Salad is the best I have had. The Italian dishes can be a little heavy. Try... More

We are locals and frequently visit Joe's ourselves, always take our out of town guests there for a meal, and often recommend it to tourists. The sandwiches and sauces are wonderful. Though I've tried many of them, I usually go for the Muffuletta, because Joe makes them with real mixed olive salad, rather than chopping up a jar of cheap... More

It was so hard to make a choice. Everything looked wonderful and fresh. I went for lunch with several girlfriends and can't wait to take hubby back. Between the six of us we had soup, salads and sandwiches. Everything was great! Nice and clean too.

Authentic, everything homemade! You will not be disappointed. My personal favorite is the Turkey Spinach Panini with Greek Salad! Did I mention I love this place?!

This hidden gem is only one block off the main hwy in Foley. There's a fun/funky bar outside that seemed like it would be fun at night but we were there early afternoon so didn't partake. Inside they have tons of options! The menu was a bit confusing but we were able to navigate it with the help I our... More

The food rated a 5 but I was disappointed an Italian restaurant that ran out of Alfredo sauce. Don't get me wrong all the food we ate was GREAT and I recommend that you eat here. I went here based on other reviews and was well worth it. We are traveling and always looking for good places to eat and... More

This is a surprisingly good little Italian restaurant right in Foley. The Stromboli, eggplant Parmesan, and spaghetti is delicious. They have beautiful salads and desserts and lots of gelatos and Italian ices. Everything is handmade and wonderful. The people who run it are very gracious. It kinda looks like a dive from the outside but give it a chance. You'll... More
