Large portions & plenty of chips/salsa

We arrived on a busy Saturday and enjoyed plenty of chips/salsa while we waited for our food (to be expected when there's a lunch-time rush). They serve large portions -- all of us had plenty to eat.

Fajitas were very well prepared. I ordered steak fajitas and there was no gristle or fat, just nice pieces of beef. Serving was huge. Chips and salsa were replenished at no charge. Restaurant is clean and pretty. Fish tacos were very tasty. . I think the fish was sautéed with Pico de gallo, just a guess because I didn't ask.... More

El Paso does a poor imitation of Tex-Mex. The restaurant is dark. Chips were hard and tasted old. Fajitas were dry and tough. Tortillas were unchewable. Rice and beans were oily. Better Mexican food is just down the road in Gulf Shores.

Very loud waiter! Some of the food was good, some not so good. Husband and I both chose plates that had a tostada on them. The tortilla was rancid tasting. So we scraped off the filling and got some chips to eat it with. When we told the host about it, he just shrugged and said that might be.. No... More

First visit to this restaurant. Large menu with specials on several nights. Chips ans salsa arrived, very unremarkable. Dinners came in a flash and I mean so quick. We couldn't believe it would be so quick. Husband's dinner was cold. Sent back and received hot. The taste was very average. Not a great find.

Good food and friendly service. The food portions were plentiful. The Grilled Steak Nachos were very good with fresh guacamole. The Chicken Tortilla Soup was tasty with chunks of chicken making it hearty. We will return to Ek Paso.

I don't else what all the rage was about and the health score was 87. I gave in and ate there. Chips were greasy. My family liked but I didn't.

Mexican food is either really good or nasty bad. This place was really good! The service was pretty good. While the waiter was helpful in our menu choices, he did not come back to the table except to give us the check. My wife and I were more than satisfied with the experience. They provide generous portions of food.

We went to Lambert's but the wait was two hours and we were hungry. We saw this restaurant next door and there wasn't any line outside. We were seated immediately and we had good service. The food was priced right and taste good. To me it had a slight stale smell probably from the grease but it was barely noticeable.... More

Enjoyed the recent visit here. Our server was very friendly and prices reasonable. We received our food fairly quickly and it was nice and hot.
