We ordered from here in the past and took our order to go. Once home and tried our gyros...we were pleasantly surprised. They were delicious. :)

This was the first gyro I had ever eaten. The meat has a wonderful spice seasoning and a light cucumber dressing...it was very tasty. The owner and staff were very accommodating to a Southern girl who had never eaten this type food before.

Good food and charm lost quickly after owner/employee started very rudely communicating in foreign tongue. Yes a mediteranian per se restaurant but in America it is disrespectful to do so in front of customers . Re: Mediteranian cuisine- greek only.

Was passing through Foley and happened onto this cafe. Very authentic. Best grape leaves! Ordered extra to take home for later.

The food was good but the wait was long. I think this stemmed from a single employee taking orders, cooking, running the register, delivering food to tables, and clearing tables. Adding 1 more person could have helped a great deal. Perhaps the single employee, who claimed he was the owner, and was having a bad day but this caused him... More

Turkish food prepared fresh upon order. Be prepared to wait a few minutes. Not too crazy about the balsamic dressing on the Greek salad, but loved the hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and spanakopita.

This was about my third trip to John's and it definitely won't be the last. If you want fast food, go elsewhere--John's gyros are worth the wait. Seems he told me his Mom makes the Baklava; he himself made our gyros (try the lamb!). I've had their spinakopita (sp) and that's excellent as well. The dining room is small, so... More
