Little restaurant, real good authentic Greek food, loved the variety, great cucumber sauce. Will have to come back.

Turkish food prepared fresh upon order. Be prepared to wait a few minutes. Not too crazy about the balsamic dressing on the Greek salad, but loved the hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and spanakopita.

This was about my third trip to John's and it definitely won't be the last. If you want fast food, go elsewhere--John's gyros are worth the wait. Seems he told me his Mom makes the Baklava; he himself made our gyros (try the lamb!). I've had their spinakopita (sp) and that's excellent as well. The dining room is small, so... More

Needed to stop for some quick lunch and happened upon this place. I love gyros so I thought I would give it a try. Left my girlfriends in the vehicle because they thought I was nuts going in there. I got them to open there minds...they ended up ordering after seeing and tasting my gyro. I got a Hummus Gyro... More

You wouldn't think Foley would be home to one of the more homely and tasty gyro shops around, but here it is... John's. They have a decent gyro that more than satisfies a craving (especially when you don't want to drive on to Mobile for something better) and a good Greek style salad. It's a really humble little hole in... More

I had the gyro with cucumber sauce and it was absolutely fabulous! I watched them slice my meat fresh off of the grilling machine and put my gyro together. The food was great, fresh, hot and just wonderful! Freshly grilled meat and the cucumber sauce is really good too. I loved it!

I'm a closet gyro fan and this place satisfies my craving. The people and service are nice and take pride in their product. The gyro is as good as any big-city gyro I've eaten. The yogurt sauce could be slightly more seasoned and/or vegetable rich. This is a very good place.

Calling this place a Mediterranean restaurant is more than a bit of a misnomer - its a gyro place and that's really about it. But, that's not a bad thing. I was shopping at the outlet mall and was looking for a place to eat on trip advisor when this place came up. It's a store-front restaurant and walking in... More

Located right in downtown Foley, this place is about as unpretenous as it gets. You walk into a counter with a small kitchen area behind it. To the right there are six small tables. The menu is written on the wall. the two gentlemen who worked there did everything: answered the phone, took orders, made the food, delivered food to... More
