We were on a week's long trip in the Fairhope, AL area and found this place. Had the fried shrimp dinner and it was very good. The home made peach cobbler was excellent. Went back a few days later and my wife and I split a hamburger and another serving of cobbler! When you are on a vacation you don't... More

Heard about their 20oz ribeye. My husband couldn't wait to try it so after a long day of house looking stopped in for dinner. Ribeye and whole Flounder was excellent! Service, wait staff, owners and atmosphere super! Will go back again and again!

Hello, I'm the grandson, my grandmother is at the cash register and my uncle is the cook. Here is a taste of my grandmothers gumbo, I think you will love it and I did. Knowledgeable, friendly and talented. Great romantic dinner on the pier.

Excellent place to eat! Food was fabulous. I would recommend the seafood stuffed potato and the seafood gumbo. Excellent service as well, so nice that this is a family owned establishmentšŸ˜

The Blue Marlin may be known for its whole fried flounder, but the ribeye steak is the real prize. The Comalander family makes you feel like you are part of their family. Great food, great service and always worth the trip (dont forget the peach cobbler)

My sister lives close to Blue Marlin and considers herself blessed. Her husband always takes his workplace clients here and says, "never had a complaint." So we gave it a try. I grew up along the coast eating a lot of seafood and I can tell you these people take the time to do it right, always. Just order whatever... More

Never fails it was just like I wanted it. I think they have the best coleslaw in town. A couple of cold beers and I went home very pleased.

We stopped to buy pecans in Fairhope, Al and the lady who worked there told us about the Blue Marlin. It is where the locals go for seafood. I had fried oysters and fried shrimp and my wife had the fried whole flounder. Both of our meals were excellent and the service was great. It is reasonably priced and we... More

We enjoyed a delicious meal tonight at the Blue Marlin. The food was well prepared. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The fried crab claws were very good and my husband said his grilled whole flounder was the best he's ever had. The food portions were generous. Will definitely be going back.

This is an older established restaurant. Older tables. Older chairs. Older counter. Older paneling. Could use a refurbishing. I ordered fried shrimp. It was good. Hush puppies were good. Friends ordered fried dill pickles and onion rings. All good and tasty. A colleague ordered a seafood stuffed potato. Looked great. Another got stuffed flounder. Both enjoyed their meals. Good food.
