We enjoyed a delicious meal tonight at the Blue Marlin. The food was well prepared. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The fried crab claws were very good and my husband said his grilled whole flounder was the best he's ever had. The food portions were generous. Will definitely be going back.

This is an older established restaurant. Older tables. Older chairs. Older counter. Older paneling. Could use a refurbishing. I ordered fried shrimp. It was good. Hush puppies were good. Friends ordered fried dill pickles and onion rings. All good and tasty. A colleague ordered a seafood stuffed potato. Looked great. Another got stuffed flounder. Both enjoyed their meals. Good food.

I love stuffed flounder and searched a lot of menus to find a restaurant to find it and this place has it. And its great, full, fresh, stuffed flounder. Very good. Wife had catfish and that was excellent also. Daughter of the owner, Becky, waited on us and everything was great. Can't recommend this place high enough. If you are... More

The Blue Marlin, was recommended.....and the food was everything that was praised.....I had never cared for raw oysters, but the raw oysters at the Blue Marlin, were excellent. The food was delicious, and plentiful. The experience was great, BUT the poor waitress was the ONLY waitress there, on a busy Thursday night. We went early, at 5pm.....thank goodness. If you... More

If you are in the mood for surf I recommend the shrimp loaf or the oyster loaf. If you are in the mood for turf I recommend the rib-eye with salad and sides. There are a lot of things that are gooood!! Don't forget the cobbler!!

I'll say this about Blue Marlin: I've never had better fried alligator than I did here. But everything else I've tried has just been so-so. I had a very bland veal cutlet once, and the fried seafood platter is just like every other fried seafood platter on the coast. Abundant but greasy. The gumbo's OK I guess if you're into... More

We always prefer locally owned restaurants to chains, and being family owned is an additional plus. We've found that local owners take great pride in their food and service, and the Blue Marlin was no exception! We were having a late dinner on a Sunday evening, and called ahead to make sure they were open. The owner ("Mom") told us... More

Several generations of the family stopped by our table to talk about the history of their family restaurant. Most importantly, their food was outstanding - no wonder they have been in business so long. Worth the trip to get off the beaten path!

Want to eat well with your whole family? You can't do much better than the Blue Marlin. This place is a true family restaurant owned and operated by a great family. The whole flounder, ribeye steak, and fried shrimp are all awesome. one of the only places you can order a crab claw kids meal (which our kids all love).... More

The 16+Oz. Steak was very impressive in size, tender, cooked perfect and taste like a Steak with just right seasoning. Oh the price was would get you an 8 to 12 oz else where.
