Once a great locals hangout. Now very over priced food and the owner and some of his staff couldn't be more obnoxious. Many locals swear to never spend another penny there. Too many cool friendly places in Fairhope to go here. And unlike Mcsharrys the others appreciate your business.

We had dinner and the food was awesome. The quaint pub was very authentic to an Irish Pub. Started with Chicken Wings. Best I have ever had. Entrees Fish and Chips - The Fish was prepared perfect with Beer Batter. Shepherds Pie - Taste original to Ireland. Dessert - Bread Pudding - delicious. What makes it even better, was the... More

Best Irish Pub I have ever visited!! Without a doubt. Friendly staff, great patio outside and the owner, who is 100% Irish, sat with us for an hour - really interesting guy with the gift of the gab! I had the Blarney Burger - words can't describe!! The Guinness was served in a proper Tulip glass, just like in Dublin!... More

My fiance and I recently visited Fairhope for his birthday. Here, he had Guinness (not served in a Guinness glass, by the way...) and I had Angry Orchard Cider. Both were $6/pint. It was a Saturday afternoon; there were a few people outside at the tables, and just a handful of people inside, including us. We had two pints each... More

My husband and I love going here for our date nights. Great beef tenderloin salad and hummus. Doesn't look like much from the outside... If I had to say one area they lack is in service. It is hit or miss.

Wasn't a bad little pub. We came twice on our vaca, once for a beer ( Local beer on tap too ) and the other we had a bite to eat. Both times we had the same bartender who is a nice guy!!

My wife and I left Gulf Shores early this weekend (see The Hangout) and ended up in Fairhope. We followed the noise from the football game and found McSharry's. Being crowded, they asked if we would sit with other people at a long table. It was a treat. Live music, the game, good food - we had a great time.... More

One never knows how 'ethnic' restaurants are going to be. This was a nice surprise. We had lunch, only, with shepherds pic and fish/chips for entrees'. The service was pleasant, the tap beer was excellent and the food was good, reasonably prices and is a 'come back' place, for sure, for us 'snowbirds'.

If you don't enjoy McSharry's, you're doing something wrong. The atmosphere is warm and inviting Irish cheer, the staff (including the McSharry's) treat you like family, excellent reasonably priced drinks and food. I've read a few less than favorable food reviews here, don't be taken in! My advice is to consider your expectations. McSharry's is not Morton's Steak House, it... More

The humus appetizer left a lot to be desired. When I made mentioned of this to the bar tender he just shrugged. The "signature" salad was mostly Romain lettuce with a few wedges of tomatoes and a small amount of cheese. I so have to say that the corned beef I added to the salad for and extra fee was... More
