Why would you NOT come here?

I have lived in Fairhope for twenty years plus. I have seen them come and go. McSharry's is not going anywhere. The owner (Ronan is his "Irish name") is friendly, caring, and genuine. He cares about his beer. He cares about his food. And he cares about his customers. Pretentiousness is out the... read more

This is one of the coolest bars I have been to in southern Alabama. Great atmosphere, good food and great drinks. This is one of the few bars I found in the South that actually serves Guinness on tap. I don't know why it's so hard to find Guinness down here. If you are in southern Alabama and find yourself... I have been all over the world and am a snob when it comes to certain foods, corned beef is one of them. Some make it to briny, some overloaded with pepper, some boil it or slice it deli style. So when I say this was the best Reuben - it is no exaggeration. We were out on a motorcycle... More

Atmosphere, indoor/outdoor seating options. Nice little pub. Will definitely make a return on my next trip to the area in a few weeks.

Read all the positive reviews and was looking forward to something unique. The Guinness was great but the fries on the fish and chips were the kind you find in the frozen section of a grocery store. Liked the mango salsa but the chips were tough.

Get a Guinness, get a reuben, get drunk. It doesn't matter. This is the place to go if you want to hang out in Fairhope. Ronan is the #*%@. My home away from home
