You can't go wrong with all the seafood. It's very casual dining where you place your order. The fried oysters rock!
I think they have decent prices to match decent food but it's a family flourescent lights type place and not really a date night place. We mostly get it to go tho.
One of the best for freshest food, the Grilled Shrimp Salad with their homemade house dressing is fantastic. Sometimes they feature Red Beans N Rice which is also some of the best around as well. You will enjoy their food.......!
Having a great love of southern food, seafood and related type cuisines, we had been told that this was by far the best place to get gumbo. If you've spent any time in this area, just about every single restaurant claim to have the best shrimp, the best oysters, the best gumbo. In fact a place by the name of... More
Seafood was fresh. We got several seafood items. I do not like seafood unless it is VERY fresh and it was. I even ate the fried oysters! The shrimp did not have that iodine after taste that I so often experience. The owner was friendly even though we were LSU fans!! We have eaten there three times and we have... More
Don't let looks deceive you because the food is wonderful! You can't beat the fried oysters or fried shrimp. Their string beans of the day were delicious as they were cooked "southern style".

The 'Jour-y' is still out on that. But what is clear is that the fat layer--that quarter inch of potentially pulsating zombie mucus--is cut away from decent quality fillets. Did... More
I was excited to eat here based on the Trip Advisor reviews. I hate to say I was disappointed. I don't judge a restaurant by the outside so that's not what I was disappointed about. The ordering process was confusing and slow. You have to wait in line at the counter to order. I don't usually have a problem with... More
We were hungry for fish for lunch while in Fairhope on a Saturday. We drove by Market by the Bay, made a U turn and went back. We were a few minutes ahead of the pack as it turned out because by the time our order was delivered to our table, the place was full of diners and people waiting... More
This restaurant is hidden behind a clump of trees & unless purposely looking for it, you would never see it...BUT the food is fantastic!! We had a combo basket (plenty for two of us) that included 2 pieces of fish, several shrimp and two sides ( we chose potato salad and onion rings) . The potato salad was good, but... More
