Yes August is a hot month. But they need to do something with their AC. I ordered a fried shrimp salad and had to eat it as fast as I could to get out of there because it was so hot inside. The workers were even hotter. You order at the counter and the food is brought to you. I... More

My wife and I are from Charlestown Indiana staying here in Fairhope on vacation. We came across Market by the Bay and decided to give it a try, what a great choice! The food was excellent, service was extra ordinary and very friendly. We highly recommend it to anyone either staying at or passing through Fairhpoe.

If you like fried seafood with friendly service, no atmosphere and very reasonable prices this is the place. They also have a location in Daphne, AL on HWY 98 near Interstate 10. You cannot go wrong with either location. They offer a variety of dishes with many choices for shrimp, oysters, fish, etc. In my view the one thing that... More

Not gourmet...just good old fashioned fried fish done in a light batter and plenty of it! Seems to me that over the years they have just gotten better,,,certainly busier which means fresher fish. My wife never gets anything but a shrimp poboy. Mac and cheese is a good side..when they have it. There is a board with specials!.. Lots of... More

This small family restaurant has good fish, oysters and shrimp. I don't find the gumbo very good, but other folks seem to like it. Portions are not huge, but generous enough and fresh tasting.

You can't go wrong with all the seafood. It's very casual dining where you place your order. The fried oysters rock!

I think they have decent prices to match decent food but it's a family flourescent lights type place and not really a date night place. We mostly get it to go tho.
