I dined with a large group of friends. The atmosphere is not formal, just sort of classy casual. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable about the menu and the food and offered good recommendations. While there weren't any "specials" for the evening, everything we tried on the menu was delicious, fresh and perfectly prepared. I ordered a house special cocktail and... More

I had dinner here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The restaurant is fairly small and was packed, so reservations are recommended. I am vegetarian and there wasn't much on the menu for me, but the waitress offered the choice of a vegetable plate or vegetarian pasta. I got the pasta and it was very tasty. My dinner companions raved... More

We've been spending winters in lower AL for 11 years and have eaten lots of shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits at the Camellia Cafe were the best yet. I'd order them again in a heartbeat! My husband was impressed with the top shelf liquors - had his first Johnny Walker Blue and enjoyed every sip. Service was very... More

Just got back from a week in Fairhope, a delightful small town with a surprisingly large number of great restaurants. We ate at several outstanding establishments - some of which I hope to review here soon - and this one was to be our pinnacle experience, as we tried to save the best for last. Unfortunately it didn't turn out... More

11/23 great service (when my husband went to the restroom the waiter came and refolded his napkin) staff extremely welcoming, wedge salad very good, grouper and sauce and vegetables made the meal a 10 plus and the apple crisp was the best we have ever had!! I would highly recommend this restaurant. The french press decafe and regular coffee was... More

My husband and I went here on a cold rainy night in November while visiting Fairhope. I had read the Trip Advisor reviews before going so I had high expectations! I had called ahead 2 weeks and made a reservation and also requested the most popular table in the house. When we were seated we were given a cramped little... More

Had a nice diner with friends and enjoyed the decor and the staff (very professional). The menu is very unique and has dishes you would not expect such as wedge salad with fresh beets and bacon as well as a quail dish for appetizer. I had the Kobe beef which apparently is raised locally, I had better however, for 4... More
