Description: If you are craving authentic southern cooking, visit Cutts Restaurant in the Enterprise, AL area. Our family restaurant offers a complete range of your favorite southern dishes. With 46 years of experience, all our menu items are also available for catering. Cutts Restaurant guarantees a delightful dining experience for your family and friends! Cutts Restaurant started out as Cutts Grocery back in March 1967, in Level Plains (pictured above). Hubert and Pearlie Bell Cutts, with their children, Larry and Lou Ellen, bought a full line country store with meat market, gas pumps, groceries and even a barber shop, There weren't many places to eat so the Cutts invented the now famous Cutts Chili Dog, thus beginning Cutts Restaurant. In 1971, the family sold the grocery store in Level Plains and they decided to build some poultry houses. The Cutts opened Cutts Snack Bar in Enterprise in 1972. It was an immediate hit. They expanded their menu to include all sorts of short order sandwiches and side orders. As time went on, Hubert and Pearlie Bell decided to retire. In 1979, Larry and Ellen bought the snack shack. In 1980, they moved the snack bar down the street to its present location. What is now just the kitchen was the entire restaurant. They expanded the menu and operating hours. “Cutts,” as most people call the restaurant, was doing great. In 1987, Larry and Ellen decided to add a large dining room and open a buffet for lunch. It was a hit. The buffet featured country cooking - four meats, 14 vegetables and a lot of desserts. The new dining room seated 160 people In 1992, due to his health, Larry retired. His son Rick, with wife Liane, bought the restaurant - the third generation of Cutts. The parking lot was expanded, new equipment purchased and a catering service launched. Hours expanded from 10AM - 2PM to 8AM - 9PM, including a late breakfast and dinner buffet. The entire family is still heavily involve in the day-to-day operation of the business. If you want some good ole down home southern country cooking this is the place. If you are looking for a white table cloth and table service, you picked the wrong place. some say this is the best place in the Wiregrass to get barbecue.

While traveling from the beach to our home, we pass through Enterprise often. We have said so many times that we wish there was a really good place to eat in Enterprise. Yesterday, we somehow found ourselves at Cutts Restaurant. When we first walked in, we had no idea what to expect. However, it didn't take long to figure out... More

This place is a place my Grandpa took me and my family to this place. It is like a buffet, you look through glass and choose a main corse, 2 sides, and a roll or hush puppy cornbread. You can also get a slice of pie and a salad. Came with drinks. So delicious, get the steak tips. The staff... More

I can't really eat much fried food anymore, and while the fried chicken looked fabulous, I had their baked chicken, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, green beans, and sweet tea. The chicken was a flavor explosion, mashed potatoes and gravy were legendary thanksgiving style, and the green beans tasted fine. The sweet tea was the best I have ever had... More

Awesome food. Go here on weekly basis. Not part of any diet, but you've gotta splurge every now and then. Good fried pickles. Wish the ice machine worked better.

Enjoyed a Friday lunch here. Had the fried fish, turnip greens, and dressing with cranberry sauce. Also had an extra side of sweet potatoes. Meal with a drink was around $11. A little high for lunch but the food was good.

Came back after 3 years away, and nothing's changed. One bite of the pork and I was back home in the deep south. Sides are excellent and service was always there to fill up my tea. If you leave Enterprise without trying this place, you're making a mistake.

Trust all the 5 star reviews as they are spot on. We had a delicious southern meal here. Recommended dishes are catfish and meatloaf. The mash potatoes and greens are sublime. Yes the inside is nothing special but honestly who cares when the food is that great and the prices so good? I wouldn't eat anywhere else in Enterprise.
