The atmosphere is casual but refined. The menu is somewhat eclectic but the chef uses seasonal local vegetables. The drink list is expansive. Started with the pork belly appetizer. It was cooked perfectly. Crispy yet the fat melted in my mouth. The cabbage and apple that accompanied the pork belly... read more

For comparable food, you may have to fly somewhere as nothing else compares within driving range. Typical fish of the day is Black Grouper - which is always awesome. Other "routine" menu items include locally raised rabbit, shrimp and grits, rack of lamb and a rib-eye that has an amazing sear and cooked to perfection. Their wine list also easily... More

I was surprised to find a really comfortable place to meet friends for drinks and appetizers during the Thanksgiving holidays. Food was good. Bar was well stocked. The bartender did not know what a Negroni was, but attempted to find a recipe and concoct something similar. Appetizers, especially the oysters, were very tasty.

Three times I've ordered a sandwich at the Rawls, and received something other than what was described on the menu. For example, a sandwich was described as being served on ciabatta bread. Mine was on regular sandwich bread. The waitress did not inform me that they were out of ciabatta (I assume they were out). On another occasion, that same... More

We were celebrating my Mother-in-laws 95th birthday with a party of eight. Our server was Christy who was very professional, helpful, attentive and pleasant. The surroundings were very historic, with high ceilings and a very comfortable environment. The wine list had excellent choices- we enjoyed the Rodney Strong Chardonnay. We each had a slightly different menu items with a variety... More

The Rawls is the place to go if you have expensive taste and are into fine dining. For that experience, I doubt it can be beat in Enterprise, and most likely the Wiregrass. Service is as good as it gets in the area. The food is excellent. Extensive wine list and beer and other drink choices. I won't downgrade them... More

The Rawls is a historic hotel with a restaurant. I have never stayed at the hotel but I have eaten at the restaurant plenty of times. It has the potential and sometimes it does provide that 4-5 star dining experience it advertise. The issue is that it often provides an overpriced bad experience. So after multiple hit or miss dinners... More
