First time by land!

The family was out and about over the weekend so since the Sausage Festival only offered a 2 hour wait for the dogs, we decided to try Pirate's Cove by land. We visit very frequently by boat, but it does seem to have a different flare when you're not barefoot and wet! Due to watching my weight, I... read more

We came with friends by boat and had so much fun! The food was great and the Bushwackers were even better! Very laid back atmosphere and fun to feel like a local.

Wonderfully idiosyncratic restaurant/bar on the water. Always GREAT music when someone is playing. The BEST Mardi Grad Parade (The Riff-Raff Parade) on the Gulf Coast. The view at sunset and early moonrise cannot be beat. If you wanna relax take a dip in the Ocean from their beach or pull up in your boat this is the beat roadhouse honky... More

We go here from our boat - very laid back with bar type food. Not fancy at all but families enjoy gathering here - there are always dogs wandering around so it that bothers you, you won't like it. We like it and it is one of our usual stops when we are out on the bay

Stopped by this past weekend with a group of friends. Great little peninsula spot out at the end of a long narrow road. Short on signage and surrounded on three sides by water, you're not likely to stumble unto this unpretentious drinking hole unless you know it's there. In any case, didn't come for the drinking, came on a super... More

We went down to experience the famous hamburgers and were VERY disappointed. They tasted bland but we were there to have a good time so we stayed and drank a few beers. I went to the restroom while the rest of my party stayed at the table and when I tried to return to the table I was confronted by... More

Great fun, great drinks and good fun. Out of the way in Elberta Alabama you can find Pirates Cove. It's a short boat drive, but a long car ride. Having live music on weekends mixed with sun, saltwater and beer nothing can go wrong. They also serve breakfast to hungry fisherman! So float on over with your boat, kids, dogs... More

We rented a boat for the day to do a "pontoon pub crawl" around the Bay. After some extensive "research," our group was unanimous that the Bushwhacker at Pirates Cove was the best in the area... by FAR. Great drinks. Fun vibe. Highly recommend this spot.

The Pirates Cove is a rustic gathering spot in Elberta Alabama. It's a long trip by car, but a beautiful 30 minute boat ride from Cotten Bayou in Orange Beach. The setting is completely casual and just about anything goes here. Dogs are welcome and usually there are plenty of them. Most come by boat, but others by cars and... More

Visited twice. Enjoyed a cold beer and cheeseburger while boating in the bay. Good food, nothing fancy. Watched Dolphins play from our table. Definitely will return. Not worth the long drive it would take to get there by car.
