This year my wife and I took our Seadoo along with us on vacation. The first trip out we made a stop at Pirates Cove for some cold drinks and a rest in the shade. Was not disappointed at all!! This is a nichey place, with a sailors feel, that is fun just to hang out at. Even though we... More

We came by boat from Pensacola with friends for lunch. BEST burgers and bushwhackers! A fun laid back joint that is well worth the trip to get there. Don't bother dressing up...just come as you are!

Great food, good prices, long drive, happy kiddos. Great view with good atmosphere!!! What more could u ask for, u say? Maybe not having to watch dogs pee everywhere while I eat?

While I understand this place may not be for everyone, this is a must for my family. Go by boat...get a bushwhacker & a burger. It's a laid back beach bum kinda place. It's fun and has been around - my kids know the dogs by name and look forward to each visit.

I understand all the reviews I have looked at so I'll try from a different perspective. If you like clean, ornate, peaceful estsablishments where you expect fast wait staff service and a variety of food, DO NOT GO! If you like an older run down establishment that's laid back with local flavor, is DOG FRIENDLY, off the beaten path and... More

After two visits, one on a sunny Sunday afternoon and another for a quiet mid week lunch sadly I have to say the staff is indifferent at best. The beer may be cold but the food is certainly nothing special. Sure they have a nice beach and you can come boat but they have become a victim of their own... More

We found this place while traveling through and thought we would try it out. The reviews were pretty good so we thought why not. We drove 6 miles down a lonely road. We passed the entrance at first . We turned in not feeling good about the location. There were junky homes around. We were unsure where the entrance was... More

by his big smile made you feel welcomed. His personal appearance was very fitting with the theme of Pirates Cove. Seating indoor and outdoor square 4 top picnic tables and 2' wide picnic bench seats. Very rustic. No shade on the deck. No umbrellas. My husband and I had the Cheeseburger -- Outstanding. Juicy. The sauce was tasty. Normally I... More

Outside seating and great view! Beach your boat out front and enjoy some great bar foods. Wooden boat show each year is always fun to attend!

Is it the burger with the grilled onions? Is it the marina setting? Is it the view of the bay from your table? What makes this burger so darned good??
