Great fun, great drinks and good fun. Out of the way in Elberta Alabama you can find Pirates Cove. It's a short boat drive, but a long car ride. Having live music on weekends mixed with sun, saltwater and beer nothing can go wrong. They also serve breakfast to hungry fisherman! So float on over with your boat, kids, dogs... More

We rented a boat for the day to do a "pontoon pub crawl" around the Bay. After some extensive "research," our group was unanimous that the Bushwhacker at Pirates Cove was the best in the area... by FAR. Great drinks. Fun vibe. Highly recommend this spot.

The Pirates Cove is a rustic gathering spot in Elberta Alabama. It's a long trip by car, but a beautiful 30 minute boat ride from Cotten Bayou in Orange Beach. The setting is completely casual and just about anything goes here. Dogs are welcome and usually there are plenty of them. Most come by boat, but others by cars and... More

Visited twice. Enjoyed a cold beer and cheeseburger while boating in the bay. Good food, nothing fancy. Watched Dolphins play from our table. Definitely will return. Not worth the long drive it would take to get there by car.

A just a shack but a perfect stop while boating for a hamburger and a beer . Very rugged but has a place to dock boats , swim and rest rooms while out on the water

Technically, Pirate's Cove is in Josephine, AL. Great burgers, no rules, bring your dog. Best to arrive by boat--much easier than the drive by car!

This year my wife and I took our Seadoo along with us on vacation. The first trip out we made a stop at Pirates Cove for some cold drinks and a rest in the shade. Was not disappointed at all!! This is a nichey place, with a sailors feel, that is fun just to hang out at. Even though we... More

We came by boat from Pensacola with friends for lunch. BEST burgers and bushwhackers! A fun laid back joint that is well worth the trip to get there. Don't bother dressing up...just come as you are!

While I understand this place may not be for everyone, this is a must for my family. Go by boat...get a bushwhacker & a burger. It's a laid back beach bum kinda place. It's fun and has been around - my kids know the dogs by name and look forward to each visit.
