The restaurant is clean, servers and hosts friendly. The food is very good. I especially liked the crab cakes and the shrimp.

My wife and i came in last week and got a rib-eye and grouper to split. the Grouper was fresh!(the only place in dothan that doesn't get if frozen) The rib-eye was cooked a prefect medium. Amazing. Keep in mind this is a higher end restaurant and the steaks and fish are cut in house. Unlike most restaurants. so if... More

Old Mill has savory steaks and some of the best seafood choices around Dothan. The fried mushrooms are wonderful! Good ranch too!

Great atmosphere, friendly, courteous staff, good food, local flavor (menu). Last ate there over 15 years ago: still a great deal . . .

Spent $22 on 5 shrimp and 2 pcs of a filet of fish. Very disappointed in the food and the service. Waitress said it was a big portioned plate.....5 shrimp and 2 small filets. Friends paid $18 for 5 shrimp, 1 pc of a filet of fish, & 8 scallops. Drink cups are almost kiddie size. Just disappointed all the... More

Some of the best food in town...the shrimp are fantastic. Good home cooked taste and atmosphere...but a little run down and very out of date...needs a face lift for sure. But you go for the food, so it doesn't really matter. Prices are a bit high for the area, but you won't mind because the food is good. Service is... More

The old mill for variety, taste, and quality is my favorite long established Dotan establishement. I like the gumbo; the fish is fresh, and the steaks are good.

I'm going to let you in on a secret. Order the prime rib and ask them to grill it. You won't be sorry. Tender juicy by far the best steak in Alabama. They have yummy complamentry yeast rolls that melt in your mouth. Also try the French onion soup too very hardy and authentic. They don't open till later in... More
