I love the Blue Moon for meeting clients or taking out of towers to lunch, because every time I go I know it will be a good, quality meal that is hot, fresh and tastes good. The decor is cute, the service personable and good (and usually fast, but remember there's one server and if the place is packed it... More

This restaurant looks like a hole in the wall, but it has a bit of atmosphere. One wall is covered with a mural of a bayou so it gives the Louisiana feel. My daughter shared the Cajun Chicken Pasta. Is was good, but not outstanding. It was a lot, so easy to share with someone. I also ordered a cup... More

Service was really poor. Gumbo was as previous reviewer said: Like it was made from a mix? Tasted of too much thyme to me. Was really thick as if the roux was undercooked or was thickened with corn starch. OK so some of you like New Orleans style. I am from NO and this gumbo would not make it there.... More

I love NewOrleans style food, this is not it. I wish it were. The food is mediocre at best the service is below average and it is overpriced. My gumbo was cold and the roux tasted like it was made from a mix.

We have eaten here many times. It is delicious. It reminds me of a little restaurant in New Orleans. My husband is from Louisiana so we had blue moon cater our wedding. It was great! I highly recommend trying this if you like Cajun food.

From the gumbo to the red beans and rice to the muffaletta and the po boys, this place rocks! They have live music occasionally and access to a nice bar next door! This place is a must go if you find yourself in downtown Dothan.

On street parking and in an old downtown building this little restaurant has character. This is our third visit and each time we came away well pleased with this place. I ordered the Grouper Acadian and my wife had the shrimp and grits. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. We both agreed these were the best mushroom... More
