Best sit down meal I had on the island.

The place is pretty old and plastic chairs blah blah, but still I had the best burger from there. We had the craw fish bread and crab cakes. I cannot recommend the crab cakes but the bread was good. The reviewer who said the cakes are like fried stuffing from thanksgiving is spot on with that. But... read more

We went with a large group and they accommodated us extremely well! Their motto is "Great food, service sucks." While the service isn't AMAZING it by no means sucks. Our waitress was great and very nice! Great food too!

The food was disgusting and way overpriced. You definitely don't get near enough food for your money. The restaurant looks nasty and the chairs you sit in, well, they look like someone pulled the plastic lawn chairs out of their yard and threw them at a table for you to sit in.

We realize that seafood can be pricy and if it's good we don't mind! My husband ordered the grouper, I ordered the pick two with shrimp and deviled crabs. It came with 6 shrimp that were good. The deviled crabs didn't have any crab in them that I could find and they tasted like straight old bay seasoning. My husband's... More

I read the reviews both good & bad and I was prepared to like this place. Service was good, but food...well, I guess it was an attempt at Cajun, but everything was hit with a cayenne seasoning- so much so that I couldn't really taste my food. I had stuffed crab. I couldn't tell if there was even crab in... More

Best seafood in a very laid back atmosphere. Great service, quiet atmosphere, reasonable priced meal and if you like seafood then this is where you need to be. I would highly recommend Barnacle Bill's. It is also right on the island!!!

The seafood was fantastic. As always , this restaurant felt like we were eating dinner with friends. ALL restaurants on the Island feel this way. The owners are at the restaurant & they're determined to make their restaurants your favorite!

Being a shrimper, fisherman, and local it is so disappointing that most restaurants in my area serve stale, frozen, sometimes spoiled seafood that was farm raised in some foreign country. On my last trip to Dauphin Island, Barnacle Bills fixed that problem with some trigger fish as good as it gets. The big gulf fried shrimp also..simply as good as... More

Prices are fair, most of their food is fried, portions are generous. Casual place. Very busy a dinner time, good place to bring kids.

Food was average. Got the crab cakes and it just tasted like Thanksgiving stuffing deepfried. Not sure if it even contained crab. Only got 3 small (half the size of my palm) cakes for $15. Daughter got kids hamburger and fries which was HUGE. Sweet potato fries were excellent, very crispy. The restaurant itself is very old and run down.... More
