After a wonderful evening at Wales West, we decided to stop in for pizza. This was our first visit to Papa's. All of the waitresses were dressed as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Halloween and the restaurant is decorated as well. I told the waitress it was our first visit and we were hungry and thirsty. She suggested the cheese... More

I make it a point to go there at least a few times a month. The pizzas there are made with fresh ingredients, basil, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, actually anything you can think up to put on a pizza. The waiters remember what we like, and ours is a complex order. Now they just go by "Alexander the Great" for the... More

Always in search of great pizza...tonight we tried Papa's Pizza in Daphne. We ordered the pepperoni scilian style and the Frank Sinatra. I'm not much of a thick crust person, don't get me wrong the scilian style is good, just not what I would order again. Now the Frank Sinatra is awesome. Crust is so good. We will definitely be back.

For Mother's Day I picked my favorite pizza place to eat after church with the family. Upon entering, a girl smoking a cigarette with a male employee (sitting in his truck) by the door asked if we were going to eat. We ALL said yes, but she threw her cigarette down, and she said, "Well, I guess I won't get... More

Daphne has various big name and smaller name pizza places but Pappa's for me has the best product of all. May be just a personal choice but flavor and quality in their pie seems way above the rest to me.

There's a back story, and a caveat, but for those who only read the first few words: For the past 14 years I have compared all other pizza to this pizza - and after 14 years, it's even better than I remembered! For the back story - about 20 years ago I was in the service business, and late one... More

It's not gourmet but it's good. The food is tasty and always fast and hot. The wine is super reasonable, since you bring it from home. My neighbors love the steak dishes and I love the italian sampler. Give it a shot and if you want something more upscale try their restaurant "Pinsone" downtown Fairhope.

Was in town visiting a close friend. Took me to her favorite place. I liked it very much. I had the large Greek salad, and shared her pizza.

These people know how to sling some pies! And boy do they have toppings to choose from. My favorite is the buffalo pizza (the Madonna). Their salads are delish as well. Try the house dressing. The owners are their daily so make sure & give them your personal reviews when you go.
