Why do I love the Brandin' Iron? Good food at a great price! When you cannot afford a $20+ steak but still desire a casual dining out experience, this is a good bet!

If you like frozen food eat here. Frozen fries, frozen shrimp, frozen burger, prices are cheap because the food is cheap. It is also very greasy. If you must eat here eat a steak or chicken with a baked potato that's about all that's not brought in on the local frozen food truck. The salad bar is not that bad... More

A good friend of mine and his family, from Louisiana, were traveling through the area and wanted to get together for a meal. I suggested the Brandin Iron Steakhouse because of their excellent steaks and superb service. We had a party of 16 and were celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday too. Our waitress brought out all the drinks and food... More

In looking for local restaurants when I travel. We decided to try this one. Big disappointment. Great folks, but I would have paid more for a good steak. Even my Med Rare steak was tough. I imagine the owners are buying the cheapest steaks they can to keep costs down, but thats not the smart thing to do.

don't bother with the regular cut steak. they are thin. always order the thick cut and have it chard a little and it's the best steak n town. sides are good, salad bar could use a few more items or at least real bacon bits, wish it was Included with the dinner. that ups the bill and with drink makes... This was my second trip to this steak house. We go to Cullman every year for an archery championship and pickings aren't abundant for good eats. Got the 10 oz. Delmonico ribeye (9.95$) and baked potato and it was a perfect MRare as I ordered. Server was prompt and friendly. I will surely go back next year while we are... More

You have to love this place, the service is absolutely terrific, the atmosphere is incredibly family friendly. I don't understand the steak being rated so highly, however. I've had several of their steaks, and all have been quite thin. The salad bar is totally average, as are the veggies. Food is at best OK. There are far better steaks to... More

This is a great, family-friendly steakhouse. Good, nice people that own and run the place so customer service is top notch. Cheap prices for good quality food.

Located in West Point a few miles West of Cullman. Well worth the drive for the excellent reasonably priced meals in a clean family setting. Have had lunch and dinner here several times and never been disappointed. Friendly service sometimes can be a little slow because of the crowds. The lunch rib eye is my favorite.

I ordered the 16 oz sirloin (10.99) and it took up half the plate, but only because it was thin cut. It was properly cooked and seasoned, the sides were not fresh but ok. Great service, nice clean restaurant. Seems to attract the local "older" crowd. Closed Mondays and no alcohol is served. Wish I knew which steak is featured... More
