The atmosphere, the food, the people... everything reflects the Pernambuco culture, it is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! And the dessert was absolutely amazing!

Large variety of local traditional dishes, paid by the weight and priced reasonably at current market (30 to 40 reais). Included desert table with a number of local and national sweets. Pretty good place for a quick meal, where you can try a variety of Brazilian and Pernambucan dishes at reasonable prices.

This is a very pleasant restaurant, with a lot of o[ptions for tipical Northeast Cuisine, in Brazil. The staff is very likeable and helpful. The desserts are excellent, specially the cakes, I love them. It's very easy to reach and parking there. You must go!

Whenever I visit Recife, I H-A-V-E TO GO THERE. Even for me as vegetarian, tons of choices! And the sweets.. hmmm! =) Just Love it. It is not that cheap though...

Now established and well accepted by Pernambucanos for variety of locat taste food at good price for the family and friends. We had a group of 12 office colleagues on a dinner get togather and every one appreciated the internal atmosphere, the service quality and eatables...

Good food , relatively cheap and long opening hours makes this place very even at midnight. So this is note the cozy romantic quiet spot. It is a big buffet of self-service good food and deserts. There are high chair for infants but no playground. There is a menu for drinks and special items.

If you are not particularly into heavy, meat-based, deep-fried food, this may not an option be for you. But if you want to experience a traditional approach to the countryside cuisine, this is it. Pricing is per-kilo, or self-service, as brazilians call it. Queijo manteiga frito and cartola are to die for!

Parraxaxa is a regional restaurant (self-service) with some famous local dishes. Nice ambience and fair priced.
