Great cost:benefit

Of course it gets crowded: huge portions of fresh seafood at relatively cheap prices! It is an unbeatable place to meet friends, eat good, no-nonsense, simple seafood and drink beer! Oh, and vallet parking: an important asset these days in Brazil.

If you want authentic Brazilian fresh seafood, this is the place!! Gotta try the crabs ( guaiamum ) soaked into this delicious stew!! Best raw fresh oysters and baked fish. Try also the seafood stew and the little stew appetizers ( caldinhos) Every time I go to Brazil I stop there!!

The restaurant has lots of options of regional sea food. This is a good place for happy hour. Service is ok. The place is a little bit crowded and noisy. This is main restaurant of this brand. There are other two at Boa Viagem beach. One sea front and another one at Av. Conselheiro Aguiar.

This is definately a must go place in Recife, no doubt the best place to have guaiamum, don't be shy though, do try the amazing oysters! Service is good, sometimes a little bit too slow, but soon forgotten after you have that colorfull tasty plate in front of you. The place is also good, but it gets too croweded after... More

Despite the fact they don´t have the best beer in Brazil, Skol Beer, the place is very Cozy and the food is spectacular, specially the seafood, get without fear the "casquinho de carangueijo", a small potion of a very tasteful crab, and the "caldinho de camarão", a small portion of soup made of shirmps, but with real shrimp inside it.

It is very well located at the seafront avenue of Boa Viagem. The atmosphere is lively (tough noisy) and if you are lucky enough to get a sit just close to a window it will be certainly better. The food was good, despite the fact we thought our dish came with too much flavor and onions and just some rare... More

The restaurant is called Guaiamum Gigante (fiant land crabs) but the crabs were so tiny they should be called Guaiamum babies! We also ordered feijão verde (fresh peeled beans) and they served cooked dried black eyed peas. The service was quick and efficient but that is all that was good there. The boiled shrimp were also very small.

This is a good restaurant with good prices, but keep away during the weekends.

It is a very goo bar to go with your friends. The food there is really great, the crab there is amazing, and can't complain about the service. But the atmosphere can be very annoying for some people who don't like noise. It is pretty difficult to have a nice and calm conversation with someone, so I wouldn't recommend it... More

The food is actually pretty good, though the atmosphere could be more relaxed, it is way too noisy, especially during weekends. If you like crustaceans you will most likely enjoy whatever you eat there, I know I did, even though some of what I ate was overpriced (they were good, but I should have paid less). It does include outdoor... More
