Good food, with a nice cost-benefit and you can taste different dishes from northeast of Brazil. clean and pleasurable. Attendance could be a little better.

If pay-by-weight were to become fine dining, Chica Pitanga would be its best representative. Flawless food and great variety. Perhaps a bit pricy, but worth every penny.

It's a self service restaurant, where the food is ready and you choose what you're gonna it! The place is lovely, well decorated, and the food is fresh and well prepared! Absolutely recomended!

At nearly 60 reais per kilo, this is one of the more expensive pay-by-weight restaurants around, but it is just about worth the price. A broad (although not amazingly so) choice of salads, mains and sides is very well prepared indeed, including shrimp, fish and prime steak. On the dark side comes a rather cramped space, and add small tables... More

I had the best meal in a self-service pay by the pound "restaurant" at Chica Pitanga. Yet, I really don't want to consider this a restaurant it is more a very up scale fast food venture. The food and selection is great. Good service and wonderfully presented buffet. There are cold salads of all types as well as hot food... More

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly and their uniforms are so bright and beautiful. The restaurant is a buffet style. There are many different options to choose from. I am from Canada so I was interested in trying some of the typical Brazilian foods and was more than happy with everything I ate. The price you pay... More

Really good self-service buffet restaurant. You pay by the weight in kg on your plate. Get long lines during lunch time, so I advice you to get early, before 12:30. It's an absurd that they only accept one credit card flag (Visa) and they will not tell you until you are at the cashier. The soda H2OH is really expensive,... More

I was in Recife for just one night. The restaurant was right behind the hotel. I had lunch at 4:00Pm !! The food was still fresh, with friendly service and wide range of options still available. very clean and comfortable seating too and a nice modern decor with amenable temperature inside ! which was excelent. If you are that far... More
